What dinosaurs would you replace if the film was accurate to its name?

As much as I love Jurassic park a lot of the dinosaurs besides from a few herbivores are actually from the Cretaceous period, so if you were to replace them with actual dinosaurs what would they be?

The ones I personally would do would be

T Rex- Allosaurus

Velociraptor- Tanycolagreus or Ornitholestes

Triceratops- Stegosaurus

Compsognathus- Probably a Segisaurus or something similar

I'm pretty sure Brachiosaurus or whatever it was called is from the Jurassic but I'd replace it with an Apatosaurus.

Which character (human) do you genuinely feel sorry for, for the way they died?

Not exactly sure which flare to put this under, so far I have only watched the first three Jurassic park films and the first Jurassic world film. I'm not bothering watching the rest of the franchise (personal choice) and I have yet to read the books. Anyways to get to the point. Out of all the human deaths in each film I've seen so far, my top pick would be Eddie Carr, not because of how gruesome it is but because he was genuinely such a good supporting character who I grew attached to and I was really hoping he would have survived. A close second would be Zara from Jurassic world but that was simply because that scene where the Pteranadon is dropping her in and out of the water scared me.

My mum didn't get my reference to The Thing.

Superstition by Stevie Wonder is playing on the radio. I just went to my mum and said

"Nauls, would you turn that crap down. Trying to get some sleep, I've been shot today."

And my mum just looked at me like I spoke another language 🤣🤣🤣

What's a spider you've always wanted to see?

I've always wanted to see the purse web and the diving bell spider which I'm sure is native in the UK where I live, but sadly I've never come across them. I'm sure purse webs are quiet rare and for diving bell's I'd probably have to find a clear still body of water and shove a camera underwater. If I ever see any of these two I will be so so happy.

Digital drawings of my old dinosaurs toy collection.

Ok so the Postosuchus isn't a dinosaur, but whatever. These are based on my old dinosaur toy collection from Schleich, Papa and Walking with dinosaurs merchandise. And yes I still have them and I'm still collecting them. Gammon is my favourite.

MESAZOIC ERA

Triassic: Postosuchus

Jurassic: Archaeopteryx

Cretaceous: Giganotosaurs

CENOZOIC ERA

Anyone like the lego jurassic world game?

I LOVE the lego games and I'm currently in the middle of the Jurassic world lego game on free play. The cut scenes are funny, I like how certain characters have certain skills. You can go around the parks and collect red or gold bricks, buy a new addition to a character for example you could play as Paul Kirby in either is dinner suit or something else he wears in the film. The extras are great as you can be silly and put the characters in dinosaurs costumes. The only issues I have with the game is some of the red/gold bricks or mini kits are impossible to collect or find. And I'm sad you can't play as Lewis Dodson as it's a miss opportunity to do the Dodson meme. Anyways rant over what's your opinion on the game?

Do you have a favourite character that's exclusively from the novella?

Not on about MacReady, Blair, Garry ect as they are all in the novella and the film, though they differ from the original book and the film. I'm on about a character that is only mentioned in the book. For me I've personally always like Jerry especially in Frozen Hell.

Question about Dilophosaurus Compsognathus venom.

Sorry no idea what flare to put this under. Yes I maybe a bit stupid and maybe this questions been answered before. I'm going off of what I know from the film as I have yet to read the book.

In Jurassic park (film) Alan Grant states the scientists used frog DNA to fix the gaps and thats how the dinosaurs were able to breed by changing their sex. Now as far as I'm aware Dilophosaurus never had venom in real life, and Michael Criton probably added that detail in for effect considering the book is like a sci-fi novel (if I'm not mistaken based on what I've been told).

But it bugs me how say the Dilophosaurus can spit venom at people, yes it's actually awesome, so did they use any other DNA strands to fill in the gaps that make the Dilophosaurus able to spit venom? For example does it have spitting cobra in its DNA or was it just something Michael Criton added in for the sake of it? Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this, just wanna know.

John Hammond and Dennis Nedry's deaths (novel)

Hope this is ok to post here. Hi New here. I am going to be completely honest I've actually never read the book. So these depictions are based off of what my brother's described to me (its his favourite novel). Tried to make them as accurate as I possible can. Open to opinions of improvements.

Quint and Hooper's death novel version.

Not perfect but here's my digital artwork for Quint and Hooper's deaths based on the novel. Been a very long time since I've read the book but I tried to make the depictions as accurate as possible.
