Exploited in Our Own Land And Being Disrespected At The Same Time🤦🏾‍♂️

Over the past few years, we’ve seen an influx of Chinese businesses operating in our country. Now, on the surface, sure, investment is great, but what’s happening behind the scenes is far darker. Many of us are being brought in to work for peanuts ...extreme exploitation, long hours, minimal pay. And if that wasn’t bad enough, when we raise concerns, we’re met with hostility, disrespect...sometimes even outright harassment. It feels like we have no voice. But I’m here to say: enough is enough. This is our land, our dignity, and we deserve better. Yes, our government might be enabling this, but we are the people. We have the power, and we need to stand together, demand respect, and remind everyone that we are worth more than this.

Which side do you Stand In this Scenario

I was reflecting on a debate about identity in Zimbabwe, and two perspectives stood out. One argued that white Zimbabweans, even if born here, shouldn’t be called Zimbabwean because their roots are colonial. The other argued it’s cruel to deny them belonging since all they know is home.

But we must confront the deeper truth...white colonizers do know where they came from. They brought a legacy of empire, a sense of home in Europe and they chose to come to Africa, build their power, and profit from that system. By contrast, the reason so many Africans in the Transatlantic Slave Trade don’t know their home is because their lands weren’t yet formed as countries when they were captured. They were taken from fragmented kingdoms and ethnic territories, which were later divided by European colonization. So, when we say they lost their home, it’s because colonization erased their origins.

People are living guys mmmhhhh

One thing that frustrates me about corruption isn't only the politicians who steal public money. It's what often happens after that.

The wealth doesn't disappear. It gets passed down.

The children of corrupt officials grow up with the best education, expensive cars, luxury homes, overseas holidays, influential connections, and businesses funded by money that was supposed to build hospitals, schools, roads, and create opportunities for everyone else.

Meanwhile, the children of ordinary citizens inherit the consequences: broken infrastructure, unemployment, overcrowded schools, underfunded healthcare, and an economy that struggles to create opportunities.

People often say, The children didn't commit the crime. That's true. Children are not responsible for the actions of their parents.

But we also can't ignore that wealth accumulated through corruption can create generations of advantage while millions of innocent families continue paying the price

I Love All People, But I Won’t Pretend Racism is Over in Zimbabwe

I want to start by saying this.... I love everyone. I believe in a future where all Zimbabweans, regardless of race, can thrive together. But I’m also not naive. I can’t ignore the truth just because it’s uncomfortable. Zimbabwe only became independent in 1980, and many of the people who once dehumanized Black Zimbabweans, who beat them, who forced them to work for free, even in chains those people are still alive today. And they’re still teaching their children that Black people are less. So I can’t sit back and say racism is gone just because we’re free from colonial rule. I know that some people still carry that hate, even if quietly, and we have to be honest about that. But this isn’t a call to hate..it’s a call to action. We love each other, and we keep working, so that the next generation never has to fight the same battles. Let’s keep our eyes on the future, working hard so that all our children inherit a Zimbabwe built on respect, love, and equality.

Beyond Body Preferences: Why Black Men Should Celebrate Every Aspect of Who We Are

Today, I had an epiphany while I was looking at my beautiful, my thick, dark-skinned situationship😂.No judgements. In that moment, I realized how often we As Black men, we often talk about how we prefer thicker women and I think it’s important we see that preference as a symbol too.

White men, in many cultures, have often preferred slimmer women, and that’s okay. It’s a personal or cultural taste. But what we do next matters: we can see that, just like they have their preferences and are okay with them, we too can embrace our own diversity. It’s a reminder that body preference among many other things isn’t a competition it’s a reflection of how we get to define beauty for ourselves.

We don’t have to reduce our worth to just one shape or style. Our big lips, wide noses, dark skin, full foreheads these are not shortcomings they are part of our beauty. And just like we stand firm in celebrating thicker women, we should stand firm in celebrating all parts of ourselves no matter how we look.

It’s time we break free, fully, and love ourselves for every feature that makes us who we are.

Just look at the reality. Every year, we hear stories of our dark skinned sisters being denied job opportunities, at restaurants, just because of the colour of their skin. Time and again, it's the lighter skinned sisters who get the gigs, the invites, and the chances. That is not fair because none of us chose the colour we were born with.

Boys and Girls, I need your opinions

Am I the only one who's seen this happen over and over again?

A guy supports his girlfriend through school or helps her improve her life, and once she's in a better position, she leaves him for someone else. I'm not saying this happens every time, and this isn't just about physical appearance it's about personal growth and new opportunities too.

Don't get me wrong, helping your partner succeed is a good thing. But I've noticed that many people seem to find their "soulmate" only after they've reached a better stage in life.

What do you think? Is it better to build together from the beginning, or is there some truth to the saying that you should look for someone who's already established because you might lose them after helping them level up?

Edit...This is also applying to Married people

When Friendship Takes the Lead: Navigating Love and Loyalty in a Girl Clique

In many relationships, a natural balance forms between partners, friends, and other commitments. But what happens when your girlfriend is at the heart of her social world, a kind of "social anchor" constantly prioritizing her friends, no matter what?

I’ve been dating a woman who is, in many ways, the glue of her friend group.

She’s warm, attentive, and always there for them. Whenever her phone buzzes with a friend’s call, she drops everything no questions asked. Even when we have plans, she often pivots, stepping back to be by their side. It’s not that she’s neglectfulfar from it. But unlike many of her peers, she never hesitates to cancel a date if a friend is in need. Her friends are so loyal to their boyfriends and i dont know why she doesnt see that no one comes for her when she is the one in need except for me.

For me, it’s a double-edged sword. On one hand, I admire her loyalty. I see the way she lifts them up, how she prioritizes their well-being qualities that drew me to her in the first place. But on the other hand, it sometimes leaves me feeling like a distant second. I wonder if, one day, she’ll miss a chance with us, just to run to another friend’s side.

It’s a delicate dance between trust and independence. I don’t want to stifle her connections, but I also hope we can carve out a space where we both feel valued equally. In a way, her devotion to friendship reminds me that love isn’t always about grand gestures; sometimes it’s about being part of a bigger, shared world. And I hope, in that world, there’s still a place for just me and her.
