First is an unsigned 19th Century Alpine painting and the second is titled Saturday-Noon by Jack Robbins
As a child of the 80’s and a Teenager of the early 90’s this painting encapsulates my entire childhood and I had to own it. I can’t think of another painting that speaks to me quite like this one.
1880 Henry Bacon
Lila Shelby 1951
Late 19th Century impression fisherman on the shore
I don’t see a signature but it’s really well done.
So I picked these decks in an auction because I think they look amazing. I mainly collect art but the color scheme and images are beautiful. Also as an 80’s kid I definitely remember Powell and Peralta growing up. I don’t know much about them but they are numbered to 3000.
Josef Suss. The Young Violinist, oil
19th Century. Cabin in the Snow, oil
19th Century. English Country Scene, oil
My fave little MCM piece. Not super valuable but I dig it
A fairly rare survivor
The piece that started my collection.
Picked this one up yesterday
