How are some of you maniacs getting 15 min/mile or less

I’ve been rucking for a few months and have seen tremendous improvements in heart rate and pace but I seem to have plateaued at a 17 min/mile pace. I can average this pace with 116 bpm HR which is easy nose breathing for me. However, I do not feel like I can physically walk any faster. Like biomechanically. How are you guys doing it? Any tips?

150 pound x 30 box squats

Trying more box squats à la StoneCircle. Cody is right that a lot of this is mental. When I finished I thought about how I could have gone for more reps if I really wanted to. Goal is to get to 50 and then progress in weight.

Does anyone know why ChatGPT can’t finish this quote?

I wanted ChatGPT to finish a Timothy Leary quote. I tried several different prompts to get it to finish the quote but it wouldn’t do it. It didn’t seem to recognize that it wasn’t producing the whole quote. I was able to get it to complete other quotes. I included pictures of a couple of the prompts but I tried maybe 6 times and always got the same message.

Is there more to the jazz song at the end of Broken Arrow?

Title says it all. Love the song and was wondering if there’s more to the jazz song at the outro.

Suitcase carry versus ruck

I tracked HR and pace data between a 1 mile suitcase carry with a 50 pound kettlebell changing hands as needed and a 3 mile ruck with a 50 pound pack. The suitcase carry was way harder. I felt like I was going as fast as possible but the pace was almost 3 minutes slower than the ruck. Also it would have been easy to keep going with the ruck but after the 1 mile with the suitcase carry I’m not sure how much farther I could have gone. I could see doing more suitcase carries when I’m short in time.

I can’t find the video but 3 months ago I was able to press 70 pounds for 1 rep (barely). Today it is 6 on the right and 5 on the left. Keep at it everyone.
