16.0.9.400(B90P01) | 1.17 GB update for Oneplus 12 Indian Variant

Compare to Oneplus 15 and 13 series new 16.0.9 update, Features are missing in 16.0.9 update for Oneplus 12. Hope this update fixes existing bugs and improves battery draining issue rather than adding more issues.

OnePlus 12 Audio Sharing: The Good, The Bad.

Hey everyone! The recent 16.0.8.300 update for the OnePlus 12 (Indian Variant), dropped a massive new feature: Audio Sharing (Dual Bluetooth Audio). It lets you stream audio to two different bluetooth audio devices at once from a single phone.

I’ve been testing it thoroughly. While it's a game changer for couples and traveling friends, it has some rough edges and a very peculiar bug. Here is the quick, precise breakdown:

👇🏻*The Limitations* 👇🏻

🔸No Dedicated Quick Tile: Setting it up is a multi-step chore through the media player menu rather than a quick toggle.

🔸Codec Downgrade: Even if your headsets support high-quality AAC, starting Audio Sharing instantly forces both down to the basic SBC codec, compromising audio quality.

🔸Inconsistent UI: You can't control individual volumes using your phone's physical hardware buttons; it requires digging deep into the notification tile or audio sharing menus.

▫️The Proof: I’ve attached some screenshots to show the UI behavior.

◽Final Thoughts: This is a constructive post, not a hate thread. The underlying tech is brilliant, and I hope OnePlus takes this feedback positively to make the UI flawless. If this bug doesn't bother your daily use, that's completely cool, just wanted to share my findings with the community.

What are your thoughts? Have you guys noticed this volume hierarchy on your dual setups? Let me know in the comments! 👇

PhonePe’s new monetization strategy: Robbing loose change from dead wallets. 🤡

Got a text message saying my wallet was charged ₹30 because it’s been inactive for a year. Remaining balance: ₹0.0.

Sneaky way to clear out dormant accounts and pocket the change.

PhonePe is evolving backward. Peak Capitalism 🤡.

Did anyone else get hit or robbed by PhonePe's new wallet tax ??? 🥲

OnePlus 12 users. What’s the play here⁉️

Looking for the best balance between quality and compatibility.

Should these camera formats (10-bit, High Efficiency Image/Video) stay ON or OFF for everyday use ?

Which ones should I selectively keep ON/OFF ?

What are your recommended settings ?

Please share your thoughts.
