I love the outdoors and camping but cant sleep through the night for the life of me. I constantly toss and turn and wake up in pain. Ive tried a cot and blow up sleeping pad to no avail. Im not a big dude (5’8”) but like to sprawl out a bit when I sleep so the narrow sleeping pads and cots are hard because you almost need to stay stationary and sleep like a mummy. Any one have any suggestions?
Ive been told by 3 different Toyota dealers that this is a normal operation sound and they are refusing to budge on this. Any insight would be helpful and what you guys would suggest if it’s not normal. Ive called Toyota customer service and they just told me I was free to take it to a 4th dealer if I felt like it but the whole process is exhausting. This truck has 20k miles btw.
Ive never owned a pickup truck before but noticed that the bed on my 2023 Tacoma wiggles and jumps up and down a bit when going over bumps. Is this normal behavior for these or should I get it checked out?
Can anyone recommend any good aftermarket bed cleats? The previous owner removed the OEM ones so I need to order some and would prefer to not pay full price for the Toyota ones.
I recently purchased a 2023 tacoma sr5 with 18k miles about a week and a half ago. Within the first couple of days I noticed a knocking sound at idle. I asked two trusted mechanics and they said the noise was not normal so I told the selling Toyota dealer and brought it back. The Toyota dealer that sold me the truck claimed the noise was the high pressure fuel pump (normal function) even though I showed them videos of my friend’s tacoma with the same motor not knocking and mentioned the vacuum pump TSB. They told me I was welcome to bring it somewhere else so I brought it to another Toyota dealer who confirmed it was a bad vacuum pump and printed the TSB for me. The seller is refusing to correct the issue and is saying that they cant trust another mechanic’s diagnosis. Im in MA btw where selling a car with this low of miles “as is” is illegal. What options do I have and how would you guys deal with this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Hey guys, I just bought this 2023 tacoma v6 2 days ago and with the hood open idling noticed what sounds like a stereotypical engine knock. Can anyone confirm this is not normal? The sound becomes clearer at the end of the video.
Hey guys, finally pulled the trigger on a 2023 Sr5 DC LB. Any accessories or add ons you guys would suggest right off the bat? Would you recommend a spray in bed liner or mat? Also whats the biggest tire I can put on at stock height?
Been looking for the newest 5th gen with low miles I can find and they seem really scarce around here. Can I realistically find a similar year, trim , and mileage for much less? Im considering pulling the trigger on this one but the price seems incredibly steep and it’s not even CPO.
