Can't load shaders no matter what I try

When the game opens and it tries to load the shaders, it never gets past maybe 10%. I can skip it and play but it still regularly crashes and textures often look like crt TV static. The game is fully updated, I updated my graphics driver, turned all settings all the way down, below the auto detected settings and changed the shader cache settings in Nvidia control panel to both unlimited and disabled, nothing works. I've finished the prologue and got the title drop and all your stuff stolen, but every time I boot up it either crashes to desktop or crashes the whole PC if I don't skip the shader pre load. I really like what I've played so far, tried at launch and decided to wait for fixes and everything works as intended once it's running at well over 60 fps. I'm on a 3060 ti I definitely have enough power to run it but it just can't load the shaders without crashing. I'm sure there's plenty of these posts and sorry if this is spam but I'm multitasking trying to figure out how to get it to run without crashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The irony of this film coming out the same year as the original iphone is such a crazy coincidence that something like it will never happen on this planet again.

I watched both NCFOM and The Road for the first time today and it's almost like they/McCarthy literally predicted the future. I'm tired I won't ramble but yeah, the themes happened in the real world, real fast, real quick.

Edit: what Im talking about is how Bell feels the world is changing and he can't keep up. Smartphones have irrevocably changed the world, and now ai is doing the same thing just in a terrible way. Every future generation will never know what it was like before every child had a tablet in their hand to entertain them.

Is the fog of war supposed to remain after unlocking fast travel in an area?

I really enjoyed the first game and finally got started with the second and this fog of war shit is stupid as hell. I have 2 seperate green areas in temple of hands and a giant grey area in the middle. I have fast travel unlocked but the grey makes me think it's unexplored since the first seal "unlocks" the map. I tried the mod to supposedly always reveal the map but it doesn't work, maybe broken by a patch or maybe it's not what I think it is. Is there any way to make explored areas of a single zone all show as the same color?

Rewatching the scene after Jesse gets kidnapped before Gus gets blown up and realized something.

That trip to Mexico with Gus and Mike watching and the cartel video taping every act of the process, maybe they were, in person, learning how to do it themselves with obvious conversation happening for each step.

It's a short sequence because Walt comes to save the day but they literally almost had him enslaved before the nazis actually do, the unnamed henchman even knows the next step is CO2, and does he wanna cook with a broken arm?

It might not have been as bad as how jack kept him but Gus absolutely would have fully enslaved him if allowed. I know it's obvious but it's such a short sequence that you forget about when thinking about the larger narrative, and then you immediately the badass destroying the lab montage.

Was Walt trying to save Jesse and give a low key explanation for the earlier shortfalls by lying about the weight in Crawl Space in the first few minutes?

Walt clearly knows how to read, do math, and operate a scale but he says it's 40.23, Tyrus comes and re weighs it and it's 40.21, and it's happening while Jesse is still in Mexico and he's worried about him. I'm just wondering if this was a subtle ploy to excuse Jesse's theft.

So I just noticed the difference in quality between the sky remake and daybreak 2..

Sky FC/SC combined is my favorite video game narrative of all time and I am absolutely loving the Sky remake.

I've owned Daybreak 2 for a while now but never started it, I've been away from Trails for too long with the likes of Expedition 33 coming out plus countless great indie games both new and clogging up the backlog.

But I started Daybreak 2 after getting up to chapter 3 in the sky remake and realizing I already know exactly what happens and finding out a successor has already been released with Horizon, it's better to be caught up to current day than relish in the past.

Does anyone else notice the difference in budget between these 2? No judgment, obv, I know the new mainline title gets more money but I'm shocked going from sky remake to daybreak 2 with how much more polished it feels. The frame rate is identical on my PC but it feels smoother. I don't like the daybreak orbment system but this game feels so much better to play as much as I hate to say it.

Idk it's just weird going from one to the other. That being said Sky SC remake will obv be my goty.

Edit: I know it was poorly worded but I was saying DB2 plays better than Sky, not the other way around even tho I still don't understand the DB orbment system.

Can we talk about how dangerous it was for Drew Sharp to be riding around with a large mason jar in his breast pocket?

If he fell off that dirtbike on top of that jar, it would have shattered and punctured whatever internal organ was nearby. I just re watched Dead Freight and when he picks up the tarantula he just slips the jar into his coat pocket. I've ridden all types of fun kid vehicles, had a go kart that had a cage roll over and pin my arm down where it fell. Just a few days ago I went to a concert, had to go back to the car and walked straight when I should have walked sideways and completely ate shit. If he fell off the bike and onto the jar it could have killed him.

Sky remake: side quest in the sky pirate hideout that moves around?

Chapter 1. I've played the original but it's been years. There's a green side quest icon that moves around marked as "???" In the pirate hideout. I don't want to pass it and miss it but I can't figure this out. It's like there's a rat to catch or something but I can't find anything, I'm just running in circles.

Gotta love when you get blocked by the company of the game you purchased because you criticize their government. Perfectly reasonable behavior.

[AW] Is there any sort of like "return to x dead game" weekends or whatever like they do with souls games?

I would really like to go back to advanced warfare because it's the only solid progression I've felt from buying maybe every 3rd cod. AW is by far my favorite with the jukes and jump boosts, but, x amount of players used to be here, now it's a ghost town. If anyone has any info on bf type revival weekends or whatever also cuz Id love to go back to BC2 as well.

In the souls community we plan specific time frames where everyone who wants to jump back on to play can find help, pvp, etc. but I'm not sure if that's something y'all do over here and since this is the biggest franchise short of poke and GTA, I would hope that fans of older games that haven't been killed can organize a reunion where you don't wait 30+ min for a match.

Ngl the accessibility options are like, the best of any game, ever at least for an indie game.

I have maybe 3 or 4 enabled, I think it's 25% less damage, no pit damage, and free fast travel back to the hub. I don't care about steam achievements so it has drastically made my experience so much more enjoyable once I put my gamer pride to the side, and there's so many more options. They thought of literally every possible way to make the game as easy or as hard as you want. Bravo Vince /s

How to do the different crafts in the field in the Sky remake?

In real time battles, when you use Y/triangle to use the craft gauge, I've noticed there's more than one per character. Ive noticed it with Estelle twice (still in prologue but already played og's). The normal one is like a front flip slam, but she also has one that kinda mimics hurricane by spinning around and I don't know exactly how I triggered it. When I saw it happen the second time I paid attention to the gauge and it still only took one so it's not like an upgrade or anything it's just different. It seems like it needs a directional input but idk what it is. Like I said still in prologue so I only have E and J, but I'd like to see what Joshua's does and how to trigger it consistently

It's pretty well documented that after GKMC, Ken felt pressured to surpass it and use his new platform responsibly, which led to one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time with TPAB. But TPAB didnt create the change he wanted to see or thought at the time he could create. So he made the more commercially successful DAMN. as a response to the reaction some had to tpab, but you can see the almost regret, anger, disappointment, sadness, at what happened with tpab in every aspect of the cover.

Imagine being in a bad situation where all you can say is "damn". The angle of his head, expression, and title, I can see myself dealing with something, saying the word, and hanging my head in the exact same position with the same look on my face, and I think its pretty clear why he feels like that, as evidenced on element with "last LP I tried to raise Black artists, but it's a difference between Black artists and wack artists" and the whole overarching theme of being damned by God.
