Rate my “vigilante Marinette” idea

Took a lot of inspiration from Dark Deku from MHA, after a hypothesized situation where Felix confesses to who Gabriel really was, and says that Ladybug lied to protect him, Marinette goes into hiding as the remaining Miraculers, under Cat Noir’s leadership, have to handle essentially non-stop Akuma alerts from all of the civilian unrest, that is, until Marinette returns, though not as Ladybug, but as a new hero in a significantly different suit, and using a new name, Ladybird, as the “new” holder of the Ladybug Miraculous, acting as a solo hero sometimes helping the actual Miraculers, sometimes just staring, from afar

Rate my Wolfwalkers character

Simon Q. Natremoil

One of Robyn’s friends from back home, he’s a semi-scatterbrained alchemist who is as much of a genius as he is a fire hazard, he physically resembles an uncolored sketch of a human, with paper-white skin, partially bleached white from all the chemical exposure, with oil-black hair and eyes colored like old paper, although in the later part of him knowing Robyn, he’d managed to gain an apothecary, some assistants, and a foolproof way to create alchemical golems, which leads to his role in the story

This is set after the events of the movie, so Robyn obviously had a lot of changes in her life since her last physical letter to Simon, because Merlyn started objecting to being used as a long-range courier, not to mention tolerating the existence of Simon’s bird companion, a raven named Charnadel, too smart for his own good, a raven who has a human sense of telling when people are hiding something, and an absolute nightmare to keep things from, neither Merlyn or Mebh would call him a friend

Simon’s existence is acknowledged when Robyn receives a letter from him, saying that he’s finally able to leave his apprentices and come to Kilkenny, problem, Robyn is no longer not just not in the settlement, but trekking across Ireland, meanwhile, Simon himself arrived to an empty house and townsfolk mourning the Goodefellowe family, and the Lord Protector, but he’s actually dead, although it’s clear to Simon that at least Robyn is still alive, so after learning of the concept of Wolfwalkers from a certain woodcutter, Simin is aware, and manages to pick up the rest of the pieces from watching Robyn’s body language

My mom’s perfect petty revenge story

Not mine but my mother’s

While at my brother’s basketball tournament, my mother (name withheld to preserve anonymity, I’m calling her M), came across some college girls who not only pushed her stuff off a bench she’d reserved for my family, but my grandmother off too, when M told the girls to rightfully shove off, they started moping, saying that they “reserved” the spot for some photos they wanted to take with their team, so M decided that she wouldn’t take that, and proceeded to sit dead center in the middle, ruining the photos those girls took, and eventually, they buzzed off

A Materialized Psychological-type Stand bound to a set of car keys, its ability revolves around the actual Stand, a black sports car of indeterminate design, with a surprisingly spacious interior capable of seating 8 in the backseat, plus the driver and shotgun seat, the car’s ability is that it can move through traffic seamlessly because non-Stand users are automatically affected by its ability, to hide itself from human perception, to humans, its like there’s no car there at all

Rate my Song Of The Sea creature

The Dead Hand: a strange Daemon manifesting as a black, spider-like shape with dull white markings across its body, capable of flattening itself into a 2d shape manifesting as an infinitely reaching 8-handed claw, it’s got a lot of intelligence to it’s hunting methods, but too bad it’s not hunting out of necessity, but for pleasure, preferring any kind of suffocation to using its claws, it can’t travel on water as it doesn’t hold a consistent shape, and it can’t move through light as it needs shadows to move in 2d

This one itself has been watching Ben’s family (this is in a sort of AU where Saorise got to keep her coat, and it’s apparently revealed that Ben is a Selkie too after the events of the movie, although he doesn’t need a traditional coat, he transforms through bright white markings on his skin) ever since he was born, originally opting to catch Bronagh by herself, although Saorise’s conception was a strange “wrench in the gears” as it could never catch her alone, until the night she vanished, she not only had to return to the ocean to safely have Saorise because of her Selkie nature, but if she were born on land, the Dead Hand could reach her, and before she vanished, it made a last grab for Saorise’s unborn form, only to be blasted by a wall of surf that destabilized its hand form, revealing the black spider form underneath the white, so since Bronagh was out of reach, the Dead Hand was opting to catch Saorise, yet again, not easy as it attempted to follow her through her journey in the magic world, and now, the Dead Hand is attempting to snare Saorise and Ben, who’s going through a crisis of identity due to his newly discovered Selkie nature

Rate my Song Of The Sea sequel

When a strange coral being known as Folcrum emerges with a desire to unite his past and future, with the shell horn destroyed and the Selkie coat gone, he’ll suffice for Saorise’s soul to bridge the gap

Notes:

The aforementioned past relates to an earth-moving deity named Talamh, who grew disillusioned with his eternity, but during Mac Lir’s heartbreak, Talamh, influenced by a life energy source called a Second Soul, planned to steal the giant’s heart, causing Macha to seal his emotions away to keep the Faerie populace from destruction

To save himself from petrification, Talamh gouged out his soul and buried it, explaining why he didn’t return at the end of the movie, and over years, the cave he was petrified in ended up a tide pool below the lighthouse, where the soul touched coral, and built itself a new body with it

How the Second Soul works is that it can be divided to animate inert life, like simple barnacles, twisted into spider-like crawling creatures that were given a directive to find and capture Saorise

The Second Soul affects humans through dreams, either showing his past, as it appeared to Ben in the opening scene, or the memories of the person affected, like when a Crawler, balancing on Conor’s chest, claw pointed into a killing blow, and due to the shard, Conor had a twisted dream of the night Bronagh vanished

Following saving his father from a crawler, Ben stabs a shard, showing him a strange dream, and revealing that he was a Selkie too, it just never inherently manifested before the pulse from the destroyed shard uprooted it, although he still is more human

Folcrum is undoubtedly fascinated, especially considering the appearance of another Selkie coat, that was tailored to Ben specifically

Let me know what you think/would add

Rate my sequel idea

(Originally posted in r/cartoonsaloon before I found this subreddit)

A couple months after the end of the movie, the Goodfellowe and MacTíre families have returned to Kilkenny, right as a tribe of hunters known as the Cadaverine, led by the Prince Of Wounds, an assassin king, is planning on taking Kilkenny by force, and they have magic on their side

main characters

Robyn Goodfellowe, Mebh Og MacTíre, Bill Goodfellowe, Moll MacTíre

Major new characters:

Cadaverine Reaper/Atrox Villaven: a freelance hunter who grew up in a compound outside of the town, and after a long solo career, he’d joined the Cadaverine to pursue bigger goals, now he’s waiting for the opportunity to vanish

Cadaverine Poisoner/Mortise Belmont: a former science teacher at a university in England who despised the concept of magic since it can’t be governed by normal principles, having joined the Cadaverine to broaden his knowledge, he actually taught Bill when he was a student

The Reaver Cleaver: bandit leader of the Red Branch sect, he’s just here for the money

The Prince Of Wounds: the overarching antagonist, an unnamed former warlord who has a tendency to leave withered earth wherever he roams, set to claim Kilkenny for himself

A main plot point:

In an attempt to understand what Wolfwalkers are after his lack of understanding led to a failed assassination on Robyn, due to him not detecting her soul and assuming her dead, Mortise captures Robyn to get an understanding of what she is, leading to a subplot where he goes to increasingly desperate methods, including, blood scans, considering intentionally letting himself get turned, going after Mebh, all ending when he tries sneaking into the house again, and gets bodied by Bill as a wolf, and then they recognize each other from university

Hot take time

I feel like it would have been better if Mitsi didn’t recognize Victim/H4CK3R not because of TDL’s influence, but because Victim was unrecognizable at this point, it would reinforce the point that Victim was held together mostly by Mitsi, and without her, he’d fallen apart become a shell of his former self, and before you say that this would mean no fight, remember that TDL still killed Mitsi, so this would mean that there would still be a confrontation when Victim/H4CK3R finds out

Rate my Miraculous-x-Kirby crossover

After Magolor’s return from Another Dimension, Meta Knight and the others were questioning what else could come back, mainly the Master Crown, and while it was lost forever, it’s energy returned and was condensed into 10 shards scattered across the multiverse, that Doomers have devoured, leading to a multiversal trek to find and secure all 10, which brings them to Miraculous’s version of Paris, and after getting some aid from the Miraculers in defeating a Crownpiece Doomer, Meta Knight suggests that they come along on their journey

Key Points:

Dedede royally endorses Tom and Sabine for offering him food

Dedede himself is stranded because he missed the launch because of Tom and Sabine’s food

While stuck in Paris, he has to host Gina for the afternoon and keep it under wraps that there’s a Dark Matter invasion that some heroes who stayed behind are handling

Grandmaster Su-Han has returned to aid the Miraculers still in Paris in dealing with akumas and Dark Matter, and study the new residents coming from Dreamland through the cosmic tear

One of said residents is Susie Haltmann, who set up a pop-up business and allied himself with Tsurugi Tech Corp (one of the arcs after the Master Crown arc, is Tomoe finding out that Susie wants to trade Kagami for her father as Star Dream’s prisoner, but she ends up at the center of a hostile takeover of Tsurugi Tech Corp)

That’s all I have

Rate my Hollow Knight video game crossover with Inside Job

When a tremor forces everyone into the kingdom of Hallownest, Reagan and the others figure that it’d be a good idea to stay and collect samples to really see what lied beneath Hollow Earth

Some pointers:

Andre and Myc end up leading the Mantis Tribe out of the Fungal Wastes in a war against the Traitor Clan

Brett ends up enjoying the high life in the rich side of the City Of Tears, and brings that wealth to the poor side

Rand tries to spread legends of his awesomeness, and frequently butts heads with Sly

Glenn attempts to bring capitalism to Deepnest, but after the 3rd attempted mauling, he maybe considers that he’s out of his depth

Gigi, being herself, manages to sweet-talk herself into Lurien’s chamber to get the “perfect selfie”

And Reagan buries herself into the history of this kingdom, including the silent hero who devoured light personified
