Can I carry a personal backpack (laptop/tablet) along with my 7kg cabin bag?
Hi everyone,
I have a flight booked from New Delhi (DEL) to Dublin (DUB) via Doha (DOH).
First leg: IndiGo (DEL to DOH) Second leg: Qatar Airways (DOH to DUB) My ticket mentions a 7kg Cabin Baggage limit (1 piece).
I am planning to carry a small college backpack/laptop bag (containing just my laptop and tablet) that I will wear on my shoulders all the time.
My questions are:Do IndiGo / Qatar Airways strictly count the personal laptop bag as part of the 7kg limit, or do they allow a "Personal Item" (small backpack) separately in addition to the main cabin bag?
Has anyone faced issues at Delhi Airport (T3) or Doha during layover while carrying a small personal backpack along with cabin luggage?
