I had a completely ordinary good day today and I think I needed that :)

Nothing huge happened. I woke up feeling okay, got a few things done that I’d been putting off, went outside for a bit, ate something I liked and actually felt present instead of rushing through the day.

It made me realize how underrated an ordinary day can be when your brain is usually thinking about the next problem.

I've been working on a website last few days and it didn't quite catch on so it feels nice to have a relaxing day <3

So yeah, no big achievement. Just a nice day. Hope whoever reads this gets one soon too :) 🌿

🌍 Can you recognize this country after I completely destroyed its proportions? 👀

No flags, no neighbors — just one very stretched country 😭
What’s your guess?

I just launched a US States mode for my geography game — how well do you actually know the size of the states?

I’ve been working on a daily geography game and just added all 50 US states.

One of the rounds is about matching the real-world size ratio between two states — this one is Michigan vs Arizona.

I thought I knew US geography pretty well until I started comparing some of these 😅

How much can you distort a country before it stops looking like itself? 🌍

I was playing around with country outlines and realized how weirdly hard they are to recognize once you stretch them a bit 😭

So I made CountryTuner, a small geography game around shape, rotation and real-world size.

Can you guess the country in the screenshot? 👀

Here’s a fun little shape to test your geography skills today. It’s super thin and has a couple of tiny islands floating right above it...

Drop your best guesses in the comments! No Google cheats allowed 👀

Ill give you the answer if nobody gets it

Looking for feedback on CountryTuner, my daily geography browser game

Hey everyone!

I recently launched CountryTuner, a free daily geography game where you resize and rotate country or US state outlines, then compare their real-world areas.

You can play it here:

https://countrytuner.com

It works on desktop and mobile, with no account or download needed.

I’d love some honest first-play feedback — especially on whether the controls and rules feel clear.

Thanks for checking it out! :)

CountryTuner — a free daily browser game for geography puzzle fans

Game Title: CountryTuner

Playable Link: https://countrytuner.com

Platform: Web Browser

Description:

CountryTuner is a small daily geography puzzle where you try to “tune” country shapes as accurately as possible. The game is split into a few short rounds: first you adjust the proportions of a country outline, then you rotate a different country into the correct position, and finally you compare the real-world sizes of two countries. The goal was to make something quick, simple, and satisfying to play once a day, kind of like a daily puzzle but focused on geography and country shapes.

It is still an early version, so I’m mainly looking for honest feedback. I’d love to know if the rules are clear when you first open the game, if the controls feel good on desktop or mobile, and if the scoring/results make sense. Any feedback about confusing parts, bugs, difficulty, or general feel would help a lot.

Free to Play Status:

Involvement:

I made the game myself as a personal side project. I worked on the concept, gameplay, frontend, country shape logic, scoring, UI, mobile support, deployment, and the daily/archive system. This is my first public version, so I’m posting it to get feedback and improve it.
