Lets say you got a warning Tuesday that the Canadian smoke coming in Thursday was actually a toxic airborne agent. Assume it won’t seep into your house enough to kill you, but being outside for too long could seriously hurt you
im in the southern edges of the smoke so I’d definitely try to hit the road to get more south but curious what people in the higher smoke concentration areas northeast would do if the evacuation routes could potentially get you stuck outside
I was in a rush to plant these and completely mixed up all the varieties. I bought VA Gold, MD 609, Stag Horn, CT Broadleaf, Hyang Cho, VA 116.

Hit 100K beginning of May. My NW is comprised of about 38k Roth, 13k HSA, 53k 401k and the rest of it are some mix of my outstanding credit cards for this cycle, emergency fund, and random small cash and crypto accounts
story of how this built up:
for starters I am blessed to have my parents fully pay my car in 2020 as well as contributing about 10k in student loan help that they had saved in a CD since I was in elementary school. the rest of my student loans I was able to pay by myself through multiple well paying internships (CS), winterbreak jobs and scholarships as well as skimping out on rent during college (sharing a master apartment room AND having other roommates). this probably totaled about -30k I spent for in-state tuition and boarding costs.
I started my first job out of college with 6K already in my Roth IRA due to having really good internships. 6% 401K match which amounted to about 1200$ in contributions every month and a 2065 target date fund. Max out Roth every year with 70% SWTSX, 30% speculative stocks (that 10K jump this month is due to that 30%). Max out HSA every year in some total index fund.
I also have a second job waiting tables after work and on the weekends sometimes. Tax returns show it’s around another $10k a year in income but this has basically become my degenerate spending money on bullshit
About to hit exactly 3 years full time work and the worst part is I still feel behind and unsatisfied. Probably will keep feeling that way till I see 1m. can’t complain though, I know I am incredibly lucky and if I had saved more of my degen money I’d probably feel better financially 😂
they put “CY” instead of “CT” on my CHP. (yes it was their fault I checked my scanned application documents I saved on my PC). do I have to do a change of address form or do I just go to the circuit court and ask to get it fixed? and if I go to the circuit court do I need to bring a self addressed envelope again so they can mail me a new one?
do I just say fuck it and run with this one letter mistake?
if I’m trying to get a Utah permit, do I need to get this fixed since you have to submit a copy of your CHP to get a non resident Utah permit?
wanted to drop this here for the VA fam since there’s only 10 left. came out to $2,068.98 with shipping and tax for me.
