I'm very confused with the Malzahar top pick recently, can someone help explain it to me?

I've seen this pick happen a lot lately and I just don't get it, like why are people doing it?

Almost every time it happens they lose slowly early then just have 0 impact mid-late game, it seems like either a throw pick or people don't know how to play it and just randomly picking it to try it out (for reference currently plat mmr)

And I have it a lot lately I'd say 1/5 games I see it or at least hovered and every team on my side or the enemies it just always goes badly lol

What is the worst excuse or thing someone said to you or tried to blame as the jungle's fault?

I'm honestly curious and want to know what people have heard in there many years of League

▲ 14 r/ViMains

Am I the only one thinking Vi needs a buff? (Coming from a long track Vi main)

I have 1.8 mil mastery on Vi and she was my main for the longest time, to the point I played nothing but Vi for almost 2 years straight

Last year/year and a half though I've swapped mains a few times, she just feels kinda in a weird spot rn, sure you can go lethal/crit for max dmg or bruiser for sustain, but both fall off late and you just kinda go in die

Especially with all the strong scaling champs in the current season

Currently I play Shyvana and Volibear and still want to go back to Vi again, but other choices are just so much stronger for playing ranked

Curious if anyone has any builds that help with mid-late game

What Shyv builds have you found work best? And work best against certain comps?

I've been trying the standard ad build after using my pta stridebreaker one for a bit now, but it feels at times not enough attack speed, so went back to my pta build and having good games on it again

Any other builds I should try or tweak a bit? Just curious what other people been using

What is going on with the letter grading system lately?

Lately idk why but my insane games, I've only been getting A ranks, seems S ranks are super hard to get all the sudden in jungle

And I'm talking most dmg on my team, cs is even or more than enemy, and my vision score is always above average

Like I had multiple games like that today and it keeps giving me A-A+, but nothing past it, meanwhile a month ago I would get S ranks for these games like it was nothing

I swore they said they helped fix it but I'm still having the common issue of smiting while hovering over dragon, and for some reason occasionally if an enemy is near, even if I am still hovering over drag no where near the enemy, it will smite the enemy champion instead of the objective

Is this common for anyone else in the drag pit

Personally, I found people played better when the final version of feats was implemented and in the game

People made less risky invades/dumb deaths early, were more obj focused and not just ignoring it, actually playing with jungle to work for obj rather than leaving it up to them for it all, and games were just more competitive and fun because people were much more focused and using strategy

I will say the con was people did try to go for first blood A LOT more, but I think if they tweaked feats a lil more it could be done right

Idk if it is just because I play jungle and it is a different perspective but every game rn this season (even tho there is no reset) if my lanes lose first few minutes they just keep ffing every game, and if doesn't go through they leave or just perma afk

Sucks too because doesn't even give me time to scale or change things, esp when playing stuff like Volibear, Shyvana etc.
I think it really needs to go back to needing all 5 votes for the 15 minute ff at least
