Doubt regarding Catogery B admission

I have some questions regarding the admission -

1)Will a 2nd Selection List Come Out?

2)Will IPE (Intermediate) Students Get a Seat?

And how much time it will take 😭😭

SRMJEEE EXAM ISSUE

I was fully prepared for my SRMJEEE exam for today (10 AM - 12:30 PM slot), with my laptop at 100% battery and everything ready. At 7 AM, my entire locality lost power. After starting the exam, within an hour, my laptop battery drained completely. Once I managed to charge it back to 50% and tried to log in again, the system rejected me with a message: "More than 30 minutes have elapsed. You cannot enter." I was locked out of the exam despite being physically present and prepared, all because of a rigid 30-minute timeout policy that makes no sense for a 2.5-hour exam.

The real issue isn't the power outage—that's beyond anyone's control. The problem is the system itself. A 30-minute timeout punishes students for genuine emergencies: internet cuts, browser crashes, system errors, or in my case, a natural disaster. When I contacted the proctor to explain and request help, he simply said "This is your personal problem" and hung up. No escalation, no documentation, no attempt to help. I was left with nothing but a ruined exam attempt despite doing everything right.

This isn't just unfair to me—it's a systemic problem. Other students will face similar situations. SRM needs to increase the timeout threshold, train proctors to handle emergencies instead of dismissing students, and have a proper grievance process for technical failures. I'm filing formal complaints requesting a reallotment, but the real issue is that the system has zero flexibility for crisis situations. For students taking this exam soon: get a backup power source, document everything if something goes wrong, and don't assume the system will be fair.

DEFENCE QUOTA COUNSELLING

I saw that WBJEE conducts a separate counselling process for Defence wards and also releases a list of students who are called for offline Defence counselling.

I would like to know how I can apply for this Defence counselling and get my name included in that list. Where do I need to apply, and what is the complete procedure for Defence quota counselling?
