Anyone had success taking Sertraline/Zoloft? I’ve only read negative

My anxiety and panic attacks have become unbearable and unliveable so I’m considering an antidepressant (I’m uk based) just wondered if anyone’s had success or if they make things worse

Garden help!

Hi. I live in the UK, house was built between 1950-66

Just been jet washing the garden and worried this raised bit could be asbestos? The flakey stuff mostly, the side bit looks suspect

Any ideas?

Uk garden help!

Apparently this house was build between 1950-66. I’ve just started jet washing my garden today and I’m really worried the top raised bit is asbestos.

Could it be or am I being ridiculous?

Sertraline experience, has it helped or hindered?

After a good two years of the worst symptoms and anxiety and trying to “do it the natural way”. I am considering starting a low dose of sertraline to try to manage my baseline anxiety as it’s ruining my life

I wonder if anyone else here is on it/has been on it and can share their experience. I’ve heard mixed things about it helping and not helping.

Daily tuna based cat food… worried!

I’ve been feeding both my cats Applaws cat food twice a day (shared tin am and pm) for around a year to two years, along with a complete dry biscuit. They tend to mostly eat the wet food straight away and then graze on the dry food.

I’m freaking out cause I’ve heard that tuna based foods can poison them (mercury levels) and I’ve been giving it to them daily for years!! This seems like it should be more well known or at least explained better on cat food sites.

Has anyone else done the same and has transitioned to something else easily or has had any issues with their cats health as a result? I’m so so worried I’ve been slowly poisoning them

Anyone in the UK really struggling with anxiety symptoms at the moment?

I am struggling hard. Been staving off a panic attack all day. Feel like I’m going mad. It’s got to be histamine related surely. The heat in the uk is like no other. Is disgusting

Midlands, UK. Symptoms

Anyone else from the midlands here? Smack bang in the middle of the country. I am miserable living here. I go to the coast and my symptoms always improve or go abroad to the coast. Living in the midlands is like a melting pot (literally) of allergens and irriatants in the air

Anyone else?

Miserable after returning to UK from coastal Spanish trip

I bet this has been posted so many times so I do apologise for repeating but, I went to stay in Barcelona right next to the sea for 5 nights and returned to the midlands last night.

Whilst away, most of my symptoms improved dramatically. Facial and eye puffing and swelling reduced. Body aches and pains disappeared completely. I was able to walk for hours on end without fatigue. I slept so well. I even drank alcohol fully expecting the usual full blown reaction I get a day or two later and…. Nothing?! I had zero aches in my liver area which is a daily issue for me. No sinus pressure etc. no joint pain. Yes my symptoms weren’t 100% gone but a damn sight better. I know “less stress” plays a part but I have a pretty low stress life in the uk.

I think it must have a lot to do with air allergens and humidity but how on earth do I replicate sea air in the heart of the UK?!

Has anyone actually moved abroad to ease their symptoms cause I’m considering it. It was like a snippet of how life could be with less symptoms. I’m so miserable right now it’s like everything returned overnight 😭

Every year around the time when the weather gets hotter and the pollen/allergens go up, my legs get swollen, feel achey and heavy and sometimes weak. Body feels like it’s fighting the flu or something.

Anyone else?
