I’m planning to visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah for the first time and would really appreciate some guidance from people who have visited before.
I want to visit respectfully and understand the proper etiquette rather than unknowingly doing something inappropriate.
A few things I’d love advice on:
• What should I keep in mind while entering and visiting the Dargah?
• Is there any particular dress code or etiquette I should follow?
• How does one properly offer prayers/dua at the Dargah? Is there a specific way to do ziyarat?
• If I want to offer flowers or a chadar, how should I go about it?
• Are there any things that first-time visitors should avoid, especially regarding unofficial guides, offerings, or people approaching tourists?
• What is the best time to visit if I want a relatively peaceful experience?
• Are there any particular areas inside the Dargah complex that I should make sure to see?
• What other places in Ajmer should I explore while I’m there?
I’d also appreciate any practical tips regarding shoes, belongings, photography, food/langar, etc.
I’m asking with genuine respect and would especially appreciate advice from people familiar with the traditions of Ajmer Sharif. Thank you!
I’ve heard there’s a mandi in Patiala that sells organic vegetables and fruits. Does anyone know where exactly it is???

I was forced by my parents to attend a job interview they arranged for me, even though I didn’t want to. I have only one month left before my exam, and I feel completely stressed. On top of that, I already lost 4–5 months because of shifting to a new house. I’m worried that my exam preparation has been seriously affected. What should I do?
Hey guys, i have recently shifted to Patiala permanently. Could you please recommend the best parks, food places, cafes, and weekend spots to explore? I would love to discover the city’s hidden gems. Thanks!
Yo champs, just wanted to share my ongoing celibacy journey. It’s been 2 months since my last relapse. Earlier, I used to relapse every month, but now I’ve locked in a 6-month goal and I’m determined to hit it.
The biggest challenge? Urges. Since I work from home, study, and live alone, there are moments when boredom and isolation hit hard. Sometimes the mind starts drifting toward stuff like nude celebrity pics and other distractions. To stay disciplined, I’ve installed blockers/extensions, locked certain tabs, and even deleted Instagram completely.
One thing I’ve personally learned: the BEST way to stay on track is to stay busy outdoors. Sitting alone all day gives urges too much space to grow, and eventually the pressure can distract you from your goals. Keeping yourself active, social, and physically engaged makes a huge difference.
Next month I’m planning to join the gym — morning and evening sessions if possible — and I think that’s gonna help a lot with discipline and mental focus too.
To all my fellas on the same journey: stay strong, stay focused, and protect your energy. We got this. Go champions 💪🔥
