Why I (and many others) Don’t care to and won’t watch this final season

As the title suggests. Many of us, myself included will not be watching this final season. Frankly I don’t care to and wouldn’t be payed enough to watch it. The way the writers have totally ruined this show with its ridiculous premise, bad scripts, huge contrivances, no realism whatsoever, laziness, plot holes, and just being flat out bad, has forced many of us original fans to completely tune out. What used to be an interesting story about relatable, teenagers chasing mysteries, and treasures, has turned into stupid characters making stupid decisions as they try to…bring back dead friends through urban legends? What the fuck. Stupid. Sad how they wasted such a great casts talent for this garbage. Because of this I won’t be wasting my time watching this BS no more. You all enjoy your season full of melodrama, unnatural coincidences and contrivances for the plot sakes, and just a bad show.

New live show rules

According to NBC itself, the live shows this year will all be in our hands and up to voters. There WILL NOT be a live shows golden buzzer this year and no judges saves or anything like that. Just 11 acts for 4 weeks will preform in the quarterfinals and we get to vote through 3 of the 11 each week. Semifinals will feature 12 acts. 8 of the will go through the the final will be the top 8. But it’s all up to us this year? Thoughts?

What has this show even become? It’s time to end it.

As this title suggests, I don’t know what the hell this show even is anymore. It used to be about great unknown singers being coached and taught wonderful musical techniques and most importantly the show was about the TALENT. But now, it just a sad mess. Lackluster talent horrible formats, absolutely no consistency on the coaching panel, the show itself becoming more focused on the ridiculousness of the “coaches”, having ridiculous people like Queen Latifa on the show, the ignorance and theatricals of the coaches, and now an apparent formate where celebrities compete? What the hell even is this? This is not the Voice. It’s bad tv. I’ve watched all 29 seasons (and honestly season 29 was the worst) but I can’t stand it anymore. This is not the show I remember or want and even the average viewership back this up (it’s down to about 3 million per episode. Terrible). Because of this, I won’t be watching anymore (after 29 seasons) and I want this show to honestly be cancelled and put out of its misery before NBC ruins it any further.

Really enjoying the new Round

I’m really enjoying the new round. SO much better than just going from auditions to live shows with absolutely no explanation like it has been over the past 6 seasons.

Why Sofia only has 5 Callbacks instead of 6

Most pry won’t believe me when I share this but it is the truth and what I was told. I know a guy that is a producer on the show. I’ve been asking for a while and he was reluctant to tell me but come to find out, Sofia did actually have six callback contestants. The sixth one was Malik DOPE who was a drummer. He was on the show in season 15 and was on again this year. They cut his audition and the fact that he was a Sofia callback because according to my source Malik was involved in a shooting and named a suspect right before Callbacks started filming in early June so they scrapped all of his involvement. That is why Sofia only has five callbacks.

My (23M) younger sisters best friend (20F) keeps harassing me sexually. How do I deal with this?

As the title suggests, my younger sister (she’s 21) has a friend (she’s 20) that have been hanging out for over a year now and this girl sexually harasses me all the time. My sister and I live close so we often see each other and go to each others houses or are in each other’s vicinity. This friend has been very flirty and inappropriate to me every time I see her and it’s been going on for over a year. She’ll constantly make comments about wanting to fuck me, shell always find ways to “accidentally” or “just happen” to brush up against me or touch my butt in some manner. I’ve literally caught her driving past my house at weird times alone. It’s gotten so bad I feel very uncomfortable and won’t go over to my sister’s house if this friend is there. I’ve told this girl I’m not interested in her and asked her multiple times to stop and she always just laughs me off and says “You’ll want me one day” or something like that. I’ve raised the issue with my sister and she also blows me off and tells me that’s “Just Tia’s personality”. But it’s weird because it’s always so sexual and gross and I have absolutely zero attraction to her. I don’t know how to deal with this situation. I want to tell both my sister and this girl off, but I don’t want to cause a riff between my sister and I because we are both close and I don’t like drama. Not sure how to deal with this.

Guest Judges for Callbacks

So one of the perks of this new round “Callbacks” that starts in a few weeks is each judge gets to bring in a guest judge to help them watch and decide who moves on to live shows. Mel B already confirmed her guest judges are former Spice Girls Melanie C and Emma Bunton. I want all of your guys guesses on who Howie, Sofia, and Simon will choose for guest judges. One thing i think will for sure happen is one of them asks Heidi Klum back to guest judge because they all are friends with her and Heidi was a huge peace of this show for 11 seasons. So I’d be surprised if Heidi doesn’t make an appearance this year. Who else you guys think we see?

A Nice change of form

Regardless of how many people complain about this show, I am excited about these new rounds in the next three weeks. Is a nice change of format compared to what we’ve had the past 5 years and I’m looking forward to it. In case anyone doesn’t know how the next three weeks will work, next week we will see more of the last of what we just saw at the end of this audition episode. We will see the judges, deliberating and rewatching acts. Come the end of the episode they will put through some automatically to live shows and cut some automatically. They will also reveal who is coming back for Callbacks. Callbacks is a two episode bit, first week we will see Simon and Howies acts and the next week Mel Bs and Sofia. Each judge will also have a guest judge in the callback round. Mel Bs is Melanie C.

The Fake, phony, fat slobs that are trolls yet call themselves “Fans”

The fake, phony, fat slobs that are trolls yet call themselves “Fans” in this feed are becoming so ridiculously annoying. All you morons do is complain and go, “this is it, I’m done” or “not watching anymore” or “Sob stories” or “I hate singers and Mel B” yet NOT ONE OF YOU IS CAPABLE OR BRAVE OR TALENTED ENOUGH TO DO HALF AS ANYTHING GOOD AS MOST PEOPLE ON THIS SHOW EACH AND EVERY YEAR. You are all just so fake and looking for attention and validation while AGT itself surges on for 20+ seasons and has ratings/viewers that are up this year and higher than both American Idols and The Voices. So buzz off you fat fake slobs and go away!

New Round

I want to talk about the new round between auditions and live shows. To start with according to the NBC AGT website episode listings for future episodes. According to what I see/understand from these listings and what the judges like Simon and Howie said of the new round before the season started is this;

We will get two more episodes of auditions (Ep 7 & 8)

Ep 9 (which airs on July 28th) is entitled “Live show Acts revealed” followed by episodes 10 and 11 entitled “Judges Callbacks 1” and “Judges Callbacks 2”.

The way i gather EP 9-11 going is this (based off there titles and judge’s comments). In Ep 9 “Live show acts revealed” we will see our judges watching all acts over again. We as an audience to will see dozens of clips/parts of most auditions. This will take place for like an hour and a half then the last half hour our judges (ether by calling or having all acts come back to the stage) will reveal the acts who go through automatically and who go home automatically and the acts who they want to see again for Callbacks.

Now we get to callbacks. Before season 21 aired both Howie and Mel and even Simon said each of the 4 judges chose 6 different acts they want to see again. Howie and Simon said each judges 6 acts preformed physical at said judges own homes for the judge to watch/decide which 3 acts of the six move forward. This is where things get interesting because Mel B hinted that like a “guest judge” will be joining each main judge there homes to watch/help decide what 3 acts of 6 that preform make it through. Mel hinted her guest judge was a fellow Spice Girl.

We get 2 weeks of callbacks then move on to live shows. Again this is not confirmed but what i gather to be happening. What do all of you think?

The Unoriginality of Fake “haters”

I have to laugh at the ignorance of some of you “fans” who watch this show. Every year it’s the same BS and lame excuses with you all, “I’m done!”, “Not watching anymore after 20 years!”, “To many sob stories!” “To many singers!”, “I hate this judge!”. And after all your nasty and lazy comments and supposed “not watching anymore” AGT still continues to rack in millions of viewers per episode and be the #1 show over the summer. And these acts you claim to hate still get on and preform while you sit in your ass and complain. It’s honestly just so funny how unoriginal and weird you haters have gotten over one of the most impactful and generational reality TV shows ever made. Get lost for good or just shut up!

I have lunch beers. Is it bad

For context I work as a Parks and recreation superintendent for my local municipality. I’ve had this job for almost 13 years now and for the last 13 years at least once a week on my hour and a half lunch break I go out to eat and have a beer or two at lunch. Let me be clear, this is only a thing that takes place once or twice a week and in my 13 years of doing this I have NEVER had more than two beers before returning to work. It has never affected my work nor have I allowed it to or allowed myself to get drunk before going back to work. I have a beer or two just to help me relax (mainly after a long work week) Last week while I was out to lunch and on only my first beer a coworker came in and saw me. Later that day she approached me and said me drinking on my work lunch hour was inappropriate and if I didn’t stop she’d report me. This upset me badly and I felt she was out of line and it is none of her business because it has never affected me before and I’ve done it for 13 years. So my question is, is it bad that I have a beer or two on my lunch break and what should I do? Stop or be me?

Season 21 discussion and Simon leaving???

So Simon did an interview with TV Insider and talked about season 21. To start will he talked about the new round called “Callbacks”. Simon said each judge will be assigned to watch 6 acts and each judge will watch them individually at their homes and each judge will only be allowed to put 2 of the 6 acts through. So basically this round is like what they used to do on the X Factor, was called “Judges Homes”. Also something that was interesting, Simon is on his 10th year as a judge on AGT. He was asked if he will ever leave AGT and here’s what he said, “Realistically I’ve got to hand over the reins sooner rather than later. That’s going to happen, it’s just when.” Sounds like Simon might be leaving soon? What do you all think?

AGT S 21 New Round

AGT season 21 will feature a new round between auditions and live shows, it’s called “Judges Call Backs”. It’s basically like judge cuts used to be be but a very condensed version, regardless I’m excited to see a new round and this change will be welcome.
