Starting from a low base, but still...

Slice it finely, salt it, and leave it to drain
Fry with meat, garlic, chilli (no chilli today because the kids were eating it) spring onions (didn't have any, but they make it betterl, soy, Shaoxing wine
Eat the watermelon (again)
Recipe from my wife's hometown on the Zhejiang/Jiangxi border.
No idea who this guy on CBS is, but he obviously knows what he's talking about...
沙茶面 - When in Fujian...
In Fuzhou 福州 for a few days, so I thought I'd get some proper satay in me.
Keeping the kids occupied on a typhoon day...anyone got Hummel's phone number?
One of these is mine, most fun I've had in weeks.
Hopefully they put this online, not enough football on the TV at the moment.
Hongshao Pork Knuckle anyone?
My wife did the veg and tofu dishes, I did the slab of meat. Division of labour.
Homemade 水饺/dumplings. Stuffed with pork and chives.
Been raining for literally two weeks in south east China, needed some comfort food to cheer me up.
The green in the green ones comes from mugwort/艾草
Homemade chao niangao/炒年糕, paired with a Goose Island IPA (after a very long weekend in the car with the kids).
I went for Sanmen/三门, Zhejiang style with extra eggs (plural) in it. Also had some bacon that needed eating so that went in. Also included mushrooms, pak choi, chilli, ginger, spring onions, garlic, Shaoxing wine, light and dark soy, and the insanely spicy pickled raw chilli and garlic sauce thing that my mother-in-law in Ningxia makes and sends down to us (genuine blow your head off, and your guts out, stuff if you don't treat it with respect)
Introducing my kids (half Chinese, never lived in the UK) to English food, part two...Treacle Sponge
With ice cream rather than custard because it's over 30c outside here already.
Hard to get suet here (China) so used butter instead. Four tbsp syrup, one tbsp treacle in the bottom, plus orange zest, and then a couple of tbsp syrup heated in the microwave and poured over the top once tipped out, just in case there wasn't enough sugar in it.
Gave it to them straight after school, then sent them outside to run off the massive fat bomb and sugar high. My daughter was complaining that she just wanted ice cream not the pudding until she tasted some, at which point she shut up and concentrated on throwing it in her mouth.
My son (half Chinese, never lived in the UK) requested "English food". I obliged...
Lincolnshires, steamed broccoli, mashed potato. The gravy is two caramelised red onions, the juices from the sausages, some leftover chopped up beef that my wife uses to cook Chinese food with, and the water from the potatoes, plus flour obviously.
As delicious as it is beige.
