Cogeco Tech took my parents Hue Bridge

My elderly (80+) parents had a lightning strike and fried several electronics in their subdivision. My parents needed their modem replaced. Cogeco sent out a technician, who replaced their modem and told them that the hue bridge was a Bell device, and not needed to work with the Cogeco modem. They took the bridge, but left the power cord. My mom then called me, wanting me to set up her outdoor lights for Canada Day but couldn’t connect to Hue. I came over to trouble shoot and discovered the missing bridge.

Whether this was done innocently or intentionally, what are the chances of being reimbursed for the bridge that was taken?

Northguard Codex

The final draft for my Adeptus Astartes homebrew chapter - The Northguard

This codex is extremely lengthy, so be warned before you dive in, but I’d love some feedback, even if you only read a section or two.

Photos are all generated by Chat GPT, but 99% of the text was written by me with some AI input if I thought I was drifting too far from lore.

Let me know your thoughts…what works? I’d there anything that’s too far into left field?

Smoke Grenade Colour

For the smoke grenade, is there a benefit to having the smoke clouds 2 different colors? I flipped through the data cards for it and I only see them classified as smoke - not any specific type.

When I searched equipment pack in this sub, everyone seems to have them painted different colors as well.

Disclaimer: I haven’t actually played a game yet. Waiting on my buddy to finish his team.

Gauge Cluster Screen

I use CarPlay 100% of the time, and keep the CarPlay navigation map as my gauge cluster screen.

Ever since the most recent software update, anytime I start my truck it defaults to this gauge screen and I have to manually flip through them to get to the screen I want.

Is there any way to select a screen as a default so I don’t need to change it every time I fire up my vehicle.

Having to change it each time didn’t happen prior to the recent software update.

Like so many others, I couldn’t decide what to do for my army. First it was Necrons, and I got into Warhammer by purchasing Tomb World. Then I started doing more research and quickly changed my mind to go with a space marine chapter. I considered Raven Guard, Death Watch and Raptors before I finally decided to just do a home brew that took aspects from all my favourite chapters.

The Northguard - Rangers of the 2nd Company. Composed primarily of battle-brothers who have completed honorable service within the Deathwatch Long Vigil.

Edit: Would love some C&C. I definitely want to get better at plasma glow.

I tried applying the Army Painter Matt Varnish to my kill team, and I got this frosting effect. I’ve read that’s common if applied incorrectly so I’m looking to get some input on what I did wrong and how to fix it.

I cut open a large cardboard box to use as a “paint booth”, I sprayed about 3-4 light, quick passes on the front and backs of the minis. I had them drying in my garage, it’s heated. I did open the door to apply the paint, it was sunny, about 10°C and 68% humidity, but then closed it back once done.

I read that applying Lahmian Medium can help to remove the frosting. I’m not looking for a gloss look, I was wanting my homebrew to have a matte green finish. Raptor-ish.
