I pulled off the countertop to install a new one and found this attached to the wall... just, why?

I made this years ago in college. The finish is a little rough because a couple of the plates warped a little in the hardening process, but I was really proud of it at the time. It's made 8/9 ounce leather that I hardened with beeswax at a low temperature in the oven. The plates are riveted to belts on the inside to hold them all together and the hinges and closures are made from pieces I found at the hardware store and modified a little. Please ignore that I'm blinking, lol

The year before last I made all of my friends their own dice tray for our dnd campaign. Each one has a symbol related to the player's character (except the red one with the black emblem- he just really likes monster hunter, lol). This was a really fun project!

Made this and a sling for my dad for Christmas. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of the sling after I finished it. Either way, he loved it!

It's all cedar wood to resist rotting and bugs, and I lined it with weed block to help it hold the soil. The deer are pretty bad where I live, so I wrapped it in chicken wire

It's a little beat up because I've been wearing it to work everyday for 4 or 5 years, but it works great! I made a wood copy of my phone to water form the pouch to be an exact fit

It was my first attempt at working with steel, (and it shows, lol), but I'm pretty happy with it! 14 gauge sheet steel with brass rivets, and a padded cap made of alternating layers of canvas and an old moving blanket

I made some jolly rancher vodka and put it in these glass titos shooters. Add some corks from the hardware store, and you've got potions! My players loved them
