Meal prep

I feel like all my safe foods can’t qualify as meals. I’m working a lot and need to be eating meals that can be prepped so that I don’t start binging bc there’s only freaking apples in the fridge. any ideas?? All I see online is rice and some form of meat. That’s great and all but depending on my mindset I’m not gonna be able to eat that lol. Also so many “meal prep” meals simply go bad so easily

In and out workers in the heat

Genuinely no fast food restaurant should be having workers outside in the heat with the iPads. It 100 fkn degrees outside. Same with CFA like either treat ur workers right or stop giving a fuck about the drive through times. Employees are what make these stores run.

Thoughts on the new menu?

I think the new menu is pretty good. I think the signature pizzas are going to be ordered a lot more than they previously were. Like the new veggie pizza and the mad dog with bacon included makes sense. The names r what kill me 😭

EDMR THERAPY?? Has anyone tried it/any other type.

Sorry for the rant at the end. Anyways, my psychiatrist told me that I should do EMDR therapy. Not sure how much it would help.

I did CBT for years, but stopped doing it while in contact with ex pw bpd. Stopped going because I’d be told to leave, which I already knew but didn’t feel safe doing at the time. I don’t think it helped much. My therapist (who I worked with for years) also left the field.

The longer I’m away from pw bpd and in my very happy very, healthy relationship, the more I realize how fucked my feelings are. Now that I feel safe, it’s all allowed to pour out in a way that’s healthier. I already went thru the “fleas stage” and still kinda am in it but no where near as bad as it was. I was just genuinely insane for a bit. Lost my mind and was spiraling. Anyways I feel more stable now but can’t shake the filth that lays over my spirit from the past. Very miserable thing to feel. Nights r the worst for some reason. Hate it bc I have an amazing loving girlfriend who is healing wounds she didn’t create. But she also is great and knows that it’s not her job to do that and wants me to get a therapist who can help me even more. We have good boundaries and they work very well for me. I Just wanna be good for her and very importantly I want to be me and not have this weight on me anymore. When I am feeling my best, I am my best to everyone around me and that’s the goal.

Mimicking pw bpd’s behavior

Do you guys ever mimic your pw bpds behavior. It’s been a long time since I’ve been with my ex but that relationship/friendship was so intense that overtime I started to mimic how she’d panic and how intense everything felt. I hate it. I panic over little things now and have developed anger issues. That’s not who I am :(

Need medication recommendation help PLEASE

I really need help and would appreciate anyone who took the time to read this. To make a long story short, I’ve tried so many medications throughout my life. SSRIs, SRIS, a ton of antianxiety, the whole cycle... I have diagnosed depression, anxiety, adhd, and mild OCD (symptoms have lightened over my lifetime.) I recently got off Wellbutrin because I believe it was triggered bad anger. I’ve always had bad luck with medication. There’s a specific chemical that we think my brain reacts badly to, and that’s why I was told Wellbutrin was my lost shot at finding something to help. I’m serious when my psychiatrist told me it was out last option in the ssri/sri realm! :(

I developed high sensitivity to stressful situations after being in an abusive relationship. My past ex had in medication borderline personality disorder and I took the blow and experienced things that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. The fear still sticks sometimes. Everyone noticed the switch in my behavior fairly quickly in that relationship, and I’ve failed to help change it much. It takes me a long time to cool off, and I break down at slight inconveniences that stress me out. I’m out of the relationship now and have since found my wonderful partner.

However, I really want help. I can’t afford therapy and medication at the moment, so please don’t suggest that (but would love to go back at some point). Until then, I really want to know other options. My girlfriend has mentioned maybe asking my psychiatrist for a mood stabilizer. Do I reach criteria for such a medication. I don’t have bipolar/bpd or anything that I know these meds are usually prescribed for. I’m so lost and hopeless and just want to live without feeling like my heart is dying. Thanks

Biggest pet peeves?

What are ur guys biggest pet peeves about either working or dealing w customers. Mine is when a customer says something like “can I get an 8 piece chicken” and I constantly have to ask the meal or entree. It’s a little thing but it literally happens over and over and over for hours every single shift it gets so old. Time is money and people never know what they want before hand.

I’m miserable here and literally can’t leave I’ve applied to countless jobs and no response. I hate this so bad i cry after every shift. My co workers aren’t even bad they are nice but the job itself and the customers are a different story
