PLEASE HELP - MOTHERBOARD/BIOS
Hello, if anyone could please help me Id appreciate it!
I have been trying to update my ASUS PRIME Z790-P WIFI motherboard due to my games crashing and getting a popup saying its out of date. I went to the products support page on ASUS’ website, I downloaded the latest BIOS, I extracted the zip folder and ran the BIOS RENAMER. The file renamed to “PZ790PW”, it is a .CAP file. I copied the file into a USB drive that is in FAT32 format. I go into my BIOS, I go to the EZ flash utility to apply the update, I click on the .CAP file from the USB drive, and it keeps giving me an error saying the file selected is not a proper BIOS. My USB is plugged directly into my motherboard, Ive tried downloading previous versions because mine is far out if date, ive looked everywhere for a solution and cant find anything. If anyone could please help!!!
