When you are just minding your own business…

Spending a relaxing Sunday afternoon going peacefully from flower to flower… when a bully swoops in and turns your world upside down, literally! (See still photo in comments)

Finally after 15 months!

The “thing” finally happened. It’s kind of cheating because I was at the dealership getting my headlight replaced because of a malfunction, but this is where I found my car. (Left)

Bigger isn’t always better!

I am so in love with these Junior Sunflowers. They are a branching variety and I can’t wait for them to start blooming.

This never gets old!

I always get so excited whenever I see these little guys. It doesn’t matter if it’s my first or fifteenth time seeing him in one day, I always stop what I’m doing and watch in awe as he makes his rounds.

Cuphea is by far his favorite flower!

New sprinkler system?

Has anyone had a new irrigation system installed recently? I need about 14-15 zones and 50 something heads to cover my property. It’s 3/4 of an acre but I’m not doing the whole thing.

My water pressure isn’t the best which will limit how many heads per zone.

I installed a system at my old house which eons ago. I’ve been living here 16 years now and am tired of moving sprinklers around and watering by hand. I’m
an avid gardener and not sure how I even lasted this long.

Trying to get an idea to avoid sticker shock. Thank you!
