So it's been a week for my process. Honestly I don't know why but I didn't feel any craving or mood swings etc.. Thanks for this community for being so supportive. I'll update next milestone (1 Month).
Double Standart of Morality "Kelsier" vs "Elend and Vin"
Hello Folks,
From my own understanding there seems a double standart when considering the morality of the characters.
People often charactarize Kelsier as a psychopath due to his actions and Brandon's own words(I have my nown critiques about this, yes he is the creator of the story however after he published them these stories became ours too. For me his words should not be treated as God's Words) . He has little to no empathy towards Nobles and Skaas who worked for them. He manipulates people for the greater good etc..
On the other hand there is an empathy towards Vin and Elend despite their actions. Vin massacred an army (Cett) because of her paranoia, fear and wants to send a message. Elend marched his army into the mist for optimizing his army and executed his friend for the order.
If we think the scope of their actions (bodycount included) for me the actions of Elend and Vin are much more dangerous and "Evil" than the deeds of Kelsier.
I think main reasons behind this double standart are Brandon's own words and the feeling of the characters after their deeds. Vin and Elend feel remorse and "hate the monster" but Kelsier fells satisfaction and " embrace the monster".
What is your opinions about this matter? Is there really a double standart phenomenon ?

Spoiler for Mistborn Era 1 and Tress of the Emerald Sea

So, I’ve read Mistborn Era 1 in three weeks. That was just an amazing journey for me; Sanderson is my favorite writer right now. Sazed’s arc is the best character arc that I’ve experienced in any storytelling medium. I love Kelsier’s personality and basically everything about him, and I am very surprised that so many readers don’t think of him as a “good guy.” For me, he is the best guy, but that's a discussion for another day.

Then I read Tress of the Emerald Sea in just three days, and I realized the Cosmere is a much broader universe. Hoid mentions Kelsier and Sazed, and Ulaam was literally a Kandra! Finding out the connections between them was an amazing experience. At the end of The Hero of Ages, Sazed mentions, “I’ve made you a Mistborn, Spook, that was Kelsier’s wish.” I was speechless—Kelsier wasn’t dead! And Hoid talks about Kelsier like he was an enemy?!

I bought Arcanum Unbounded and I’ll read The Eleventh Metal, then Secret History. Then Warbreaker, etc.

Can you tell me if this feeling of a rushed dopamine hit and the "Sanderlanche" (I think that’s the word for the ending of the books where all the plot points come together) will remain in his other works? I’ve loved finding the connections and theorizing across the books. People (and the man himself) say The Stormlight Archive is his magnum opus. I really don’t understand how it can be better than Mistborn Era 1, but I am very hopeful!

Advice Needed for Art-Heist to Hell's Rebels Style Revolution Campaign
Hey everyone, looking for feedback and mechanical advice for a homebrew PF2e campaign concept. I am an experienced GM (15 years ) but this will be my first time for PF2e campaign
In a sunless world (sun has shattered and each city/community found various ways to deal with it) , a mega-city survives by a deal with devils: heat and light in exchange for human emotions, memories, and souls. The current ruler made the city an artistic paradise because devils feast on the raw emotion of avant-garde performances and art.
Act 1 (Levels 1–4): WWI-era Bohemian Paris vibe. Based out of the Café des Artistes, the party pulls swashbuckling art heists (stealing back locked-away memories, rescuing banned scripts, etc.) to build a community. (I don't want a classic vagabond adventurer party, I want more grounded party who cares their city)
Act 2 (Levels 5+): The ruler is overthrown by his tyrannical cousin, who enforces brutal martial law. The campaign shifts into a heavy Hell’s Rebels style underground revolution. (He thinks creating memories , emotions through art is very time consuming process and he's a bit egomaniacal)
I am looking for the advices ;
Subsystems: Planning on using Influence for Act 1 high-society galas. What’s the best way to run a Rebellion subsystem in 2e for Act 2? (I'm thinking use one of the conversion for 1e Hell's Rebels system)
The Soul Economy: Any ideas on how to gamify "harvested emotions" ? (I want to add memories and souls to be a part of the deal but i'm not sure)
Environmental Hazards: The areas outside the city's heat grid are freezing. What are your favorite low-level cold hazards?
Love to hear your thoughts on the vibe. Archetype or class recommends to players or any pitfalls to avoid generally for me.
Tress of the Emerald Sea After Final Empire
So i'd like to read Tress of the Emerald Sea after Final Empire. I have only 50 pages left and i am waiting the lunch break to finish it's so good! It's my first Sanderson book. Does Tresd have any spoiler for the rest of the Mistborn?
Edit: Thanks for your replies i don't want any possible spoilers so I'll just read book 2 and 3 of the Mistborn then I'll read Tress.
PS: there is only 15 pages left! It's an awesome book i hope the rest of the cosmere is good as Final Empire.
