FNDP: The TAROT-THON is BACK with Part II: THE HIGH PRIESTESS

>Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.

- Benjamin Spock

II: The High Priestess represents intuition, conscience, secrets, spirituality, carnality, the unspoken, and the hidden spaces between boundaries.

Beginning The High Priestess's journey is tricky - yet simple: Just embrace your Sweet Dreams

How would you recognize The High Priestess if you saw her? Most likely you'd be Strangers In The Night

How would you recognize her voice? Listen for The Sound of Silence

Where might you find her? Probably somewhere unexpected and seemingly mundane, like The Jackson Park Express

Self-deceivers beware; she can see straight through you from the Outside

Follow her. Where might your journey take you? As far away as Neptune

This one's for our friend Luigi, who I just learned has had a very bad week: Despite the remorseless gaslighting of the waking world, he walked the path of conscience - of The High Priestess - Past the Point of No Return.

After an appropriate period of uncertainty the floor open: What songs of secrets, silence, darkness, desire, and mystery have you got tonight?

I've NEARLY finished So You Want To Be A Hero - one problem:

My 3rd character (Mage) got all the way to the final showdown with the Bandit Leader, when I discovered I somehow didn't have the all-important Dispel Potion!

I'd neglected the game for months so I forget what happened, but the spitting flowers are dormant, the dryad isn't returning my calls, and the herbalist is silent on the matter, so I have a terrible feeling I did something stupid with it (which seems very unlike me) - and it's not in any of his saved games, either.

Is there some way to get another, something I'm overlooking/forgetting or do I just have to start over?

Trying - and failing - to run Siege of Dragonspear

What gives?

I downloaded it from GOG.

I have BG:EE already installed.

My computer runs Windows 7.

The installer told me I don't meet the specs (unlikely), but then it said it said it had installed successfully - but it hasn't. No evidence of its existence in my Baldur's Gate.

I hit Launch, and it just opens My Computer or something.

The much bigger second file didn't even know how to open.

What do I do?

I was on a cruise in the South Pacific, and we touched down on an island the captain told us was deserted, but then THIS GUY showed up! Anyone know who this is, and how best to greet him?

"Kill All Normies": What does present company think of this book?

To my surprise, it's billed as nonfiction (I'd been under the impression it was more of a satirical novella).

I was just talking with an older relative about 'NewTruth' and pronouns and the obvious COINTELPRO-takeover of the rainbow-flag, and...well, I've only heard of the above book; is it the correct one to get one up to speed, or might it be misleading/signing onto a false foundation in its own right? If any of you have read it, is the Wikipedia blurb above even accurate? Is there anything better? Maybe ignorance of stupidity amounts to intelligence?

OK, so the game is borderline-gaslighting me about item-value now?? Explain this.

I found this item (on a character who couldn't use it), fought a few enemies, I look back and next thing I know it's both plummeted in value and also claims to have slightly increased its "Expected Protection", despite the other stats having not changed in any way whatsoever. Totally bizarre.
