On to high rank, i bought the armor that’s available with money so i don’t have a goofy mixed set with no active skills anymore. Def up M and speed sharpener isnt too bad I guess.

Still looking for a high rank monster to build its full armor.

Here are my weapons, I’ve spent more time upgrading them compared to my armor. They are all upgraded until the point of needing high rank materials.

Looking forward to what high rank brings, I still don’t know much about this game which is kind of refreshing not knowing what’s coming next.

I’m used to looking deep into MH games and always knowing what’s next.

I haven’t really touched the expeditions much, they don’t seem useful? Looking for info on that, maybe they’ll be more useful later. I did get one relic duel blade that kind of sucked. Was low rank tho.

I decided to try a weapon I’ve never used in any MH title, Charge Blade.

I figured if there was any time to learn it, it would be in arguably its strongest game.

Truly feels like a one size fits all weapon. It’s a sword and shield/switch axe mix with a nuke attached to it, awesome.

I’m blowing through village now pretty easily, I’m at 6*

I spent some time grinding this fire charge blade, it took me 1 gravios, and 8 Rathians to get it… im thinking about working towards the zamtrios charge blade now, and those two should get me through low rank and maybe early high rank I reckon.

Impact vs elemental, I see conflicting info online on forums.

I’m currently planning on sticking to element, I go to shield charged axe mode when I can. Use A attacks to use the phials, then finish sometimes with a AED.

Now the SAED… I really only SAED when they are sleeping. I’ve seen many people say it’s better to just use your A attacks in axe and use phials, and AED when the opportunity presents itself. Due to the fact that SAED removes your shield charge and phials.

Is this correct? I know it really doesn’t matter but I like to maximize my damage.

Guard pointing is fun but I’m not too great at it right now, having to kill 8 rathians made me do pretty good at it against her tho.

Also about that random ass armor. I think I’m going to wait for high rank to grind out a set. Any suggestions?

I played MHFU to completion recently, and low rank nercylla just gave me more issues than that entire game did 🤣

Haven’t felt this noobish in a while, I just failed 2 quests back to back.

I swapped inferno tower for cannon, and hero knight for bowler. This maintains the same avg elixir.

I’ve been having more fun with this variation, and have maintained a much higher win rate compared to knight, inferno tower.

My goal is to reach the elite 4 with a party of 6 shinies.

Against recommendations I decided to try for a safari zone shiny.

This makes 3/6! Slightly disappointed that it wasn’t a safari exclusive. But, I can’t complain, he didn’t run! Docile nature, not sure if that matters.

Help me decide what is next, so far I have:

Charizard

Dratini

Nidorino

I’m doing a shiny only run, I got 3 gym badges so far, here is the team!

I’ve added an additional rule/restriction for this, I must enter the elite 4 with a full party of 6 shinies.

I’m in the town with the safari zone, and I think it would be cool run to run the safari zone until I get a shiny, and use whichever one it ends up being! (Hoping for a rhyhorn lowkey )

Any tips I should know before I undertake this grind?

This will make 3/6 for my party, and I have no idea what the other 3 will be.
