Hey everyone hope you all are doing well.. My laptop's HDD suddenly died on me out of nowhere and since it only had an HDD and no SSD I am kind of fucked.. The timing is pretty bad because I am right in the middle of school projects and learning a few software skills.. I am a 17 year old student living with my relatives and coming from a lower middle class family asking them for extra money to fix it isn't really an option nor can I work legally yet.. If anyone happens to have a spare 2.5 inch SATA SSD lying around even a small 128 GB one that they aren't using and would be willing to donate I would be super grateful for the help.. Thanks for taking the time to read this..

Hey everyone,
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately hating on Bear and Sarah, but I feel like everyone is completely ignoring the real culprit here: Ian. If you look at the story from everyone's individual perspectives, it becomes pretty clear that Ian’s selfishness is what actually caused most of this mess.
Here is my breakdown of why Sarah and Bear deserve a pass, and why Ian is the one who should be blamed.
First of all, Sarah did absolutely nothing wrong. Put yourself in her shoes:
She is just going about her normal workday when she suddenly finds out that Bear and Nikki are dating.
Before this, Nikki constantly told everyone that she only viewed Bear as a "little brother."
On top of that, Sarah knew that Nikki was hooking up with Ian.
Imagine how painful and confusing that would be for Sarah, who genuinely likes and admires Bear. From her point of view, Nikki is just using him. We also have to remember that Sarah had no idea about the One Wish Willow. She was operating purely on the messy human drama she could see, so you can't blame her for reacting the way she did.
While Bear isn't completely innocent, he doesn't deserve the level of hate he gets.
Bear didn't love Sarah, he loved the idea of being with Nikki.
He was completely in the dark about the fact that Nikki had been hooking up with Ian, or that Nikki used to view him as just a kid brother. No one told him the truth.
When he used the One Wish Willow, he honestly thought it was just a silly, harmless toy. He had no idea it actually possessed real magic or what the dark consequences would be.
He didn't maliciously force Nikki to love him; he just tried it out of desperation to see if it would work, completely oblivious to the danger. He made a mistake, but he isn't a villain.
The title of the ultimate villain easily goes to Ian, because that guy is incredibly selfish.
Ian knew the entire time that Bear had feelings for Nikki.
He knew that he himself was hooking up with Nikki, and he knew exactly how Nikki actually viewed Bear (as a younger brother).
Despite knowing all of this, Ian never bothered to look out for Bear. A real friend would have pulled Bear aside before the relationship even started and said, "Hey, just so you know, Nikki and I hooked up, and she told me she thinks of you like a brother. You might want to think twice about this." If Ian had just been honest, he could have left the choice up to Bear. Instead, Ian kept quiet to protect his own interests, letting Bear walk straight into a mess blindly.
TL;DR: Sarah was acting out of genuine care and confusion, Bear was completely clueless about the magic and the lies, and Ian is the true selfish villain who let everything fall apart by hiding the truth.
Change my mind! What do you guys think?
"English Passenger by Matthew Kneale"
It's Set in 1857 the story kicks off when a crew of cash-strapped Manx smugglers are forced to charter their ship to an eccentric trio of English passengers.
The mission:
The leader of these passengers is the deeply misguided Reverend Geoffrey Wilson... He is convinced that the literal biblical Garden of Eden wasn't in the Middle East.. But is actually hidden in the remote wilderness of Tasmania (then known as Van Diemen's Land)... He has mounted an expedition to prove it..
The Clash:
As the ship sails toward the southern hemisphere, the narrative expands into an epic multi-perspective historical drama... Once they arrive in Tasmania the expedition collides with the brutal reality of British colonization... The book masterfully explores the devastating impact of white settlement on the indigenous Tasmanian population..
20+ Narrators:
The book is told through a massive mosaic of voices ranging from the ship's cunning captain : Illiam Quillian Kewley and the British travelers to the displaced native Tasmanians fighting for survival...
It's a darkly comic yet tragic historical epic about a wacky Victorian expedition sailing to Tasmania to find the literal Garden of Eden told through over twenty different perspectives...

Broooooo I can't describe how good this books was..
I just finishing it it's around 280~ pages long ..but trust me don't think that 280pages ain't enough for you to enjoy a book.. This book is by far the best action/spy-thriller I have ever read.. the plot, the humor, the action everything was so frickin good... While reading this there were many times when I was like "nooo wthhh why did this happened" and sometimes I was so frustrated and sad because something very bad had happened.. Also don't think that cuz it's a spy book so it won't be funny at all..the book is full of humor and you will connect with the characters instantly..
Pls give it a try .. (am gonna recomend this to everyone how ever asks me about a book recommendation)
(Ik am bad about reviewing books.. I can't review it properly without spoiling it😭)
So,
I have so much to say but idk how to describe it without spoiling anything..nvm I will let it be a mystery you should read it yourself and experience it.. Tbh it was quite a hard read for me it took me around idk 15 days or more .. It was my first jane austen and actually jane austen rights in such a poetic way that you will definitely have a hard time figuring out what is she actually talking about (it's the same with every book of her) but the plot was good the overall rating I will give it will be a solid 7/10 (cuz it was quite hard to read) ik that classics are a bit hard but it's on a different lvl🤣... But it's good entry book for anyone who wanna get into austen's works..
(Now my google history is filled with chapter explanation and meanings lol)

Hey everyone, I’m feeling incredibly stuck and could really use some honest perspective. I’m currently trying to choose between pursuing a BA (Hons) or a B.Com (Hons), and it’s turning into a major mental battle between following my interest and securing financial stability.
From my research I know the general perception a standalone BA degree isn't highly valued in the corporate job market unless you pair it with an MA and it rarely lands you a high paying entry-level salary... Even with BA Economics which is considered the most practical of the lot you usually need a Master's or extra certifications to get a great corporate role... That being said after looking into political science, psychology, and sociology, I've realized my genuine interest aligns heavily with BA Sociology.. I truly want to study it but coming from a middle-class Indian family I don't have the luxury or privilege to study purely for passion without worrying about a job... I need financial independence right after graduation...
So, I’m considering a strategy.. What if I pursue BA Sociology but aggressively stack it with market-oriented skills? I’m talking about learning marketing, mastering corporate tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI), and doing side certifications in Project Management or AI Product management to make myself attractive to the corporate world and also working partime or in sales just to be financially stable..By working in sales or any other part-time job will give me experience which i will be needed to get a job..
Alternatively, should I just play it safe and go for B.Com (Hons)? B.Com is universally seen as more practical nowadays because it aligns directly with finance, accounting, and corporate roles... If I do B.Com and add a couple of finance certifications.. A decent-paying job is much more attainable...
Can I actually break into a solid corporate marketing or product role with a BA Sociology degree if my skill stack (SQL, Power BI, Excel) is strong? Or should I just stick to B.Com for the safety net and keep sociology as a hobby? If you have any alternative course/certification recommendations that could bridge the gap for a BA student .. please drop them below. Thanks ..
Ps : Also I have plans to do MA in criminology if I choose to do BA in sociology :)..

So, to start... I don't even know how to explain how this book felt.. Mind-blowing...The plots, the characters, and Morton's storytelling were just fantastic. It felt as if I were right there, witnessing all of the events unfolding. I tried to guess the plot twists but failed miserably and honestly.. I think that’s what makes a book truly great.
The story was so good that I wasn't able to put it down. I have to admit it was quite slow at the beginning but as the story continued it was as if the pages started turning themselves hypnotizing me into this crazy, mind-blowing mystery thriller. When I first read the prologue I was a bit confused about what was going on but by the time I reached the end the way the story unfolded was absolutely shocking. It’s a solid 8/10 for me.
A little brief about the book:
It's a mystery thriller about a woman working as a journalist in London who is incredibly frustrated with her life. When an unexpected event forces her to travel all the way from London to Sydney to visit her grandmother.. Where she discovers a dark, mysterious tragedy that happened long before she was even born. The wild part?? It happened right within her own family.
Trust me on this you won't be able to guess any of the plot twists coming. I am an overthinker myself who always tries to predict the plot beforehand but in this case it was impossible to guess anything... Well you aren't alone in the confusion either Jess, the female lead, struggles just as much to find out what actually happened. So, what are you waiting for? Go grab your copy and enjoy the ride - it's fantastic!
