Rivera Rockcrusher vs Fryette Powerstation 50

Before ask my question, I would like to provide a little background history about myself. I started practicing guitar consistently during the start of the pandemic. I am a mostly self-taught guitarist, but I have taken lessons in the past. I primary guitar is a Gibson Les Paul through a Marshall JTM 20 studio. So I would say that I am still very much a beginner although my definition one may say I am more of a intermediate player. I’m still trying to find my sound and in all transparency still learning how to operate the equipment that I already have.

With that being said, I have a rock crusher currently, but the opportunity has presented itself for me to potentially get my hands on a power station. Now, with my rock station I feel like my settings are either too loud or to muddy or too muddy or too bright. So, I am very much aware that I am the issue here lol.

My question is, which piece of equipment is ‘better’? What would make one the preference over the other.

Also, if you are in the Denver area and you wanna come hang out and kick it shoot me a message lol
