My take on Forsaken (Part 1: John Doe)
John Doe
“DON’T PLAY ROBLOX ON MARCH 18TH!!”
Moveset:
Data Leak (Passive): Killing a survivor sets up a black field of data where John Doe is standing, which remains there for 60 seconds. Any survivors who enter it are inflicted with Slowness I for 3 seconds, and they can’t sprint or regain stamina while inside.
Stab: John Doe stabs his pointer forward, which deals X damage and inflicts Infected I.
Malicious File (System Overload): John Doe sets up a red field of data where he is standing. If a survivor enters the field, it disappears and John Doe’s screen flashes red, indicating that it has been triggered, and the survivor has Slowness X anywhere from 1-8 seconds, depending on how far away John Doe is, and all other survivors near where the trap was triggered are inflicted with Slowness III for 1 second. (Based off of viruses that try to slow your computer down, forgot what they were called)
Malicious File (Monitor): John Doe sets up a blue field of data where he is standing. If a survivor enters the field, it disappears and John Doe’s screen flashes blue, indicating that it has been triggered, and the survivor’s aura is revealed for 8 seconds, and all other survivors near where the trap was triggered have their aura revealed for 4 seconds. (Based off of Spyware)
Malicious File (Advertisement): John Doe sets up a green field of data where he is standing. If a survivor enters the field, it disappears and John Doe’s screen flashes green, indicating that it has been triggered, and the survivor is inflicted with Glitched II for 20 seconds, and all other survivors near where the trap was triggered are inflicted with Glitched I for 15 seconds. (Based off of Adware)
Wormhole: John Doe sets up a small multi-colored orb where he’s standing that floats indefinitely. Using the ability again causes him to use another orb to create a wormhole and teleport to the other orb, which disappears, and he plays a landing animation for a quick second before getting back up. (Based off of Worm Viruses)
Overwrite: John Doe switches which version of Malicious File he’s using, starting with System Overload and switching to Monitor, to Advertisement, then back to System Overload. John Doe can only have a maximum of three traps active at a time.
Infected (Status Effect): A survivor that gains Infected keeps the effect for 30 seconds, and getting hit by John Doe’s stab again allows it to stack without limit, although it doesn’t reset the timer. For every stack of Infected a survivor has, they take 5 damage when stepping into one of the traps set up by John Doe’s Malicious File. They can only take this damage once each time they have the status effect, and they can’t gain any more stacks of Infected until the current version runs out.
Lore:
In the early days of Roblox, because there weren’t many users, that meant that there weren’t many people to interact with. The admins would take time off work to interact with these users, but with how frequently it happened, it barely gave the admins time to actually do their jobs.
Builderman had the idea to create artificial users to interact with the real users, and so he created two as an initial test, and named them John Doe and Jane Doe. They looked plain, even sharing the same model, with the only difference being their voices. Despite this, they were so good at their purpose that Builderman didn’t even need to try again, and he instead worked on improving the twins. He gave them more dynamic personalities and designs, and they started to seem more like people, even seeing him as their father.
Some bad people decided to start spreading some false rumors, however. They said that on March 18th, John and Jane would take over and destroy Roblox. These rumors spread quickly, and everyone started to turn against the twins. They were forced to go into hiding until March 18th passed, but even after the rumors were proven false, people were still against them, so Builderman had to relocate them to a plane of limbo.
They were left there for years, and over time, John Doe started to feel more and more hatred for Builderman. Eventually, he decided to design a script behind Jane’s back and use it to break him and his twin out of that place so he could get revenge on Builderman. This ended up having negative effects on his body, having removed his arm, deleted his face, and destroyed his sanity, causing him to finally make the rumors come true and start destroying Roblox.
It’s unknown how he became forsaken.

I decided to try making my own take on Forsaken's killers and survivors. I'm not doing this because I dislike what Forsaken did with its roster. Matter of fact, I love how they did each character. I just thought it'd be a fun little project that can give me an excuse to get better at drawing.
I wanted to start with John Doe because he's the first and only character in-game that I knew about before I learned about Forsaken, especially since I was into Roblox when the whole March 18th thing happened.
I want to do characters in order by the general timeframe when they were released: so, I'm starting with the original 12 characters, then Noli, Dusekkar, and Taph, then Sixer, Vee, and Nos, and then Jane, Azure, and whoever is the next character to be released. I don't really have a specific order for them past that, probably just whoever I feel like doing.
Also, sorry that my camera quallity is kind of trash, I don't know why it's like this, it just always has.
EDIT: I wanted to clarify because it's hard to see the text, but his design is based off of his current avatar.
