I posted 3 days ago about my water breaking at exactly 37 weeks. Here’s the update!

I was in labor for 59 hours from first contraction to birth. I ended up having to have a Pitocin induction because labor kept stalling and we didn’t want to risk infection with his sac ruptured.

He was FINALLY born this morning at 5:50. I pushed for about an hour and a half and got second degree tears.

Basically nothing went to plan and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but he’s here and he’s perfect and I would do it all over again for him in a heartbeat.

All this to say, if it all seems to be going wrong just know that you really won’t even care anymore once baby is in your arms.

Water broke at exactly 37 weeks. LETS GO BABYYYY

Started having contractions at about 7 pm, they slowly increased in intensity and closeness until about 10:30. I took a shower. Contractions stopped. Got out of shower, put clothes on, sat down, GUSH. I just kinda sat there stunned for a few minutes. Asked my husband “should I call?? Is this like… real??” Went in. It’s real. More contractions.

I said I wanted him out ASAP after I hit 37 weeks but I was not expecting right at 37 😂 they sent us home to get some rest while contractions are still irregular and manageable with the plan to either have progressed by morning or be induced in the morning.

I can’t believe I’m gonna have a baby within the next 48 hours 😵‍💫 I’m so excited and incredibly scared 😂

Update: still no baby. Labored off and on all day yesterday. I had planned a birth center birth and was really trying to hold off and get to active labor so I could still follow my plan. At this point we’re out of waiting time and are going to be transferring to a hospital for a pitocin induction. I’m super sad that nothing has gone how I wanted but I will have my baby so soon and that’s the important thing.

Hormones were kind of crazy during the first trimester but completely chilled out during second and most of third. I’m 35+3 now and the moodiness has been terrrribleeee the past several days. I just cry all the time right now. Unless I’m uncontrollably hysterically laughing, which is a lot less often but has happened a couple times where I could not get a grip lol.

I just feel huge, swollen, sore, exhausted ALL the time now. I’ve been breaking out like crazy the past week and that + the swelling has made me really struggle with my self image. I feel like I don’t recognize myself in the mirror right now. I’m just so ready to be done and the idea that I could potentially be pregnant for almost seven more weeks is ruining me 😅

I’m hoping he will have made his entrance before then but assuming he probably will not have I’m gonna try to walk my baby out to life while walking for the lives of other babies. It would be pretty funny if I went into labor at a walk for life.

Hi all! It’s my birthday in the morning and I’m looking for something fun to do today. I’m 35 weeks pregnant so drinking/smoking are out, nothing that could result in a fall or impact, so no skating or bumper cars or amusement park rides, and preferably something that doesn’t require high energy. I can still walk a ways without getting exhausted, so could wander a museum, but I couldn’t do a hike.

I’ve considered ceramic painting, an arcade, u-pick flowers, or a prenatal massage. Any suggestions for good places for any of those or other suggestions for what to do? I’m in Burnsville but would be willing to drive up to a couple hours away.

Thanks in advance!

I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and this has been happening by since around 32 weeks. Every time I shower blood just starts pouring out of my nose. It’s ridiculous. Anyone else have this?

Not sure why Rabbit looks grey in the picture, he’s brown lol. I wasn’t entirely confident in my skills when I started it but I’m SO proud of how it turned out! Only a couple more pieces needed for his nursery and then it’s done and I’ll share pics of the nursery :)
