I'm on my way from Madurai to Chennai with three of my friends by train (Pandian SF non AC sleeper). We saw a police officer on the seat parallel to ours. I thought they were going somewhere but he was in his uniform. He was going through each compartment. I was confused. When the next station arrived, he got down and another police officer came on board. Only then i realised that they were on board for checking. There are both male and female police officers according to the railway station. Feeling soo safe rn. I'm really content. Never gonna choose other public modes of transportation except railways from now on 😌🥹

P.S - i guess they're reporting to their higher official from time to time. They also have some kind of schedule (some set of papers?). Not sure though. Feels so good to see people who are assigned for public safety 🤍
