Need advice: OnePlus 13 right now or wait for a sale?

Budget is around 70k. Been comparing the OnePlus 13, 13R, and 15R for a while now, and I'm leaning toward the 13 mainly because:

  • My main priority is rooting + custom ROM support
  • The 13 has stable, mature custom ROM support (LineageOS, crDroid etc.) with no known IMEI/network issues
  • The 15R looks tempting on paper (newer chip, bigger battery) but from what I've read, custom ROMs on it still break IMEI/network for some carriers - not something I want to deal with

My questions for people who actually own the 13:

  1. Price - I'm seeing it anywhere from 60k-65k depending on the seller. Worth waiting for a bigger sale, or is current pricing reasonable given it's a 1.5 year old device now?

  2. Saw a few posts here about phones getting bricked after a recent update - is this a widespread issue or isolated cases? Kind of worried since I plan to root/flash ROMs on it eventually.

  3. For those who've rooted/flashed custom ROMs on the 13 - any issues I should know about, or has it genuinely been smooth?

  4. Stock seems limited on Flipkart/Amazon right now - anyone know if that's temporary or should I grab it while it's available?

  5. Seller reliability - saw someone mention the Amazon seller for this price has pretty bad reviews, and one buyer even got a defective unit. Anyone bought recently and can vouch for a specific seller (Amazon or Flipkart) that's actually reliable? Don't want the headache of dealing with a defective/fake unit.

Any real-world input appreciated, especially from long-term owners.
