In Bribery cases, who should be held more accountable?

When someone attempts to bribe a government official, and that official accepts the bribe.

Should the person offering the bribe carry a heavier penalty than the one receiving the offer?

Are 1/1 cards actually insanely rare?

My family usually chases hockey. My cousin picked up a UFC box on a whim for a card party and he pulled not one, but TWO 1/1 cards from the same hobby box.

It was an absolute uproar, because 1/1s in any sport are insane odds, but were not as familiar with UFC.

My cousin also pointed out Topuria and Oliveira are both top 5 or top 10 fighters.

I am here to try and rationalize if this is something thats been seen before or if this is a truely astronomical odds situation.

They arent signed, they arent plates, but they are 1/1s

Found at Bond Falls, UP Michigan, USA.

Never seen anything like these before.

Edit: Monotropa Uniflora / Ghost Pipe Plant

The ghost pipe plant is a non-photosynthetic, parasitic perennial that derives nutrients from fungi connected to tree roots, notable for its ghostly white, waxy appearance and bell-shaped flowers.

Thank you for the ID. I learned something today.

Random thought. The most powerful tornados can throw glass at more than half the speed of a bb gun pellet muzzel velocity.

Someone I know almost took a shingle to the face through their window in Menasha. Projectile velocity in these things is no joke!

Help: Amazon Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set Question?

If i went on Amazon right now and bought a full stainless steel set for anywhere from $150-$300, which brand would you buy?

I want none of that non-stick crap. Also migrating to an electric stove top in about 2 months (I am moving).

I am not the chef of the house, so I am a bit in unfamilar territory however my wife has indicated to me stainless is on her radar - shes also not insanely in tune with this topic though.

What if

Unconventional trade, but what if we found a way to utilize Kap to acquire both Austin Matthews and Jack Hughes in some sort lf transaction.

Kap takes 17M in cap space. Using him in a trade pretty much guarantees we end up with more cap space, and it might be enough capspace savings to help our way to getting a second center capable of playing on the first line.

Say Democrats take House and Senate, then impeach Trump and Vance. Who would be president?

Could a democrat theoretically be president by early 2027 if speaker of the house is a democrat by this time?
