When did you figure out weight didn't matter?

I was CONVINCED all the weight stuff early game was there for a reason. I probably would've waited the whole game for it to pay off, if somebody hadn't spoiled me that it was cut content. Do we know what was supposed to happen with all that?

I see no hard tells, but the art style and background design seem a bit sus.

Sorry for the wrinkles. I was excited for this shirt, but the more I look at it, I dunno man. The color palette, the thicc lines, the weird cursive, the background design all feel a bit off, even if I can't put my finger on anything. Some of the shading is weirdly jagged, too.

We don't have any fictives or factives, but you can assume things about us anyway if you want.

There's one that has a lot of personality DNA from a vtuber, but I think a little short of enough to call her a factive. (or would it be fictive, for a vtuber...?)

Anybody been playing Clash of the Territories?

I've been enjoying, it but I was wondering if anybody's been messing with Territory mode, because I can't figure out how to do title matches.

Board wipes are good for you

Sometimes my friends flame me for running enough board wipes (28). to hope that I get five to reset the board before my mono-white burn deck can get online. I think that in commander having a board state should be punishable. Especially if you are playing against someone you know runs a ton of board wipes. I don't think commander should be whoever eliminates their opponents, I think it should be who scoops last. I am an easy target, before turn 8. Killing me early often makes them the target, not killing me soon enough often ends in me winning or determining the winner. Am I bad for running so many board wipes?

Wife getting increasingly frustrated by my inability to finish

I recently started watching a beginners series recommended here which basically recommended the first thing to do is to try to think of defence and not make mistakes, ie look for any weaknesses, but still play safe and try to make sure every single piece is safe where possible.

My wife is the absolute opposite - very reckless but also thinks of a lot more clever attacking moves. As a result my win rate is quite high, but when she wins it’s because she has a cunning plan that I’ve somehow missed and sometimes she wins in just a handful of moves

Anyway. The way I play is genuinely quite painful - chasing her King around the board with my strong pieces before eventually giving up and slowly getting one of my pawns to the other side of the board, and often even with two queens I struggle to end the game. A couple of times she has managed to beat me despite being very far behind (one game I had all of my pieces apart from a few pawns and one knight, and she only had a few pawns and two castles and still managed to beat me)

Sorry for rambling. Can anyone please recommend ways to learn how to actually be a bit more ruthless and get her king pinned down? Thank you

I don't understand ReaPack.

I installed ReaPack, grabbed a handful of packages that were recommended to me, installed those, restarted Reaper, and...nothing seems different. It's possible that I missed some per-extension setup steps, but, like, I would think ReaPet at the very least would be pretty easy to find in the menus. I'm on Win11.

While it's a little my fault that I didn't know Shift+Enter was a thing until just now (couldn't they just make it a button, though?), it's not my fault that my opponent is doing dozens of actions and it takes me 0.1 seconds each time to say "no, i don't want to forestcycle my big guy this time either."
