North Dakota: Fishing Guide and Lake Recommendations

Hey there ! I have an opportunity to visit Killdeer, North Dakota in late July. I am very interested in catching pike, or walleye, or trout while I am there. I usually hire a guide when I travel because I like to target trophy size fish . Do you have any recommendations for guides and/or bodies of water to fish ? Northern Pike and Walleye are my favorite species, and I am strictly Catch & Release. Thank you in advance.

Hamilton arrived today

It’s not on MY wrist, but it is on my wife’s wrist ! (In the pictures it is on my hand, not her wrist). I bought this Hamilton watch as a gift for my wife. Automatic movement, “open heart” window on the guilloche pattern dial, and an appropriately sized 36 mm case. The leather strap is showing its age, so that will be replaced soon. Otherwise, the watch itself is in great condition and good working order, and she is very happy with her gift. I had never seen this particular model before, which initially was what caught my attention. It is a somewhat unique ladies watch.

[SCVE065] Just arrived from Japan 🇯🇵 to the United States 🇺🇸

This is my first Seiko and I am thoroughly impressed with it ! It arrived yesterday from a professional dealer in Japan, 2026 model, brand new with papers, box, and card of authenticity. I had been shopping around for an automatic movement watch with an “open heart” dial. Case size and weight are two of the most important criteria to me when evaluating watches for purchase. This Seiko Selection measures 42 mm (case diameter) and weighs in at a hefty 163 grams ! It is a perfect “fit” for my tastes, and just needs to have a link or two removed for sizing. Looking forward to getting it on my wrist soon….
