I think we're talking about AI app builders the wrong way.

Most of the conversation is about how quickly a tool can generate version 1 of an app. But getting from idea to MVP is becoming the easy part.

Real products go through hundreds of iterations. Features get added, bugs get fixed, requirements change, and the codebase grows. That's where most teams slow down.

I don't think AI should replace developers. I think it should accelerate the journey from idea → MVP → production.

That realization is one of the reasons we started building 8080.ai.

Like a tool that helps with every step and does not cost you a lot.
Also would you choose any new tool over the popular ones?

Recently launched 8080.ai last month, it's an AI app/website builder tool, you can make a production-grade software by just a prompt.

If anyone's open to testing it

• do the outputs match what you expect?
• are the labels reqs, user flow, design, architecture to kubernetes prod good enough for user experience?
• where does it get confusing for user?

Trying to improve it based on real usage, not just internal testing.

I did an informal user research before actually building a product. Those findings helped me build the my product 8080.ai

All had the same issue, when it comes to production, it stops there. Or they'll have to learn the tool, they couldn't own the output, iterating speed, having to pay $100 before they even know it's working or worth it or not.

So, I kept all these things in mind and built it. The UI is kept simple here.

Still early, still rough in places, but would love to hear your experience while using it.
