Beginner looking for boxing glove size advice (oz) & what to look out for

Hey guys, l'm buying my first pair of boxing gloves and need help picking the right size (oz) to avoid wrist/knuckle issues down the line.

• My Weight: 70kg

• Primary Use: Heavy bag work / Mitts /

Sparring

• Budget: upto ₹4000

• Location: India

A few quick questions:

  1. Which oz should I pick for my use case, and why?

  2. What are the pros/cons of going with 12oz

vs 14oz vs 16oz?

  1. What common red flags or build issues should I avoid before buying?

  2. Any reliable brands available in the Indian market that hold up well?

Thanks in advance!

Just received my first decant haul from Imran. Total noob here, how do I test and rest these properly without ruining them?

Hey everyone,

Finally bit the bullet and ordered my first set of decants from Imran Farooqui to figure out what scent profiles actually work for me.

Here’s what I got in the mail (pic attached):

  1. Fakhar Black

  2. Liquid Brun

  3. SNOI (Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense)

  4. CDNIM edp

  5. Hawas

  6. Hawas Ice

  7. Afnan 9PM

  8. Asad

  9. Khamrah Qahwa

Since I’m completely new to this, I don't want to mess up the testing process or judge a fragrance prematurely. I’ve read mixed things on the sub about letting decants rest, maceration, skin vs. clothes testing, etc., and honestly, it’s a bit confusing.

Could the experts here give me a dummy-proof guide on how to test these correctly? Specifically:

Do these small decants need to sit in a dark cupboard for a few days after shipping before I spray them? Or are decants good to go immediately?

How do you guys personally test a whole batch like this? (e.g., 1 scent per day, test strips vs skin, morning vs evening?)

Where and how should I apply them to evaluate actual performance, projection, and longevity without going nose-blind?

What are the absolute "don'ts" when testing fresh decants? (Should I avoid rubbing my wrists, spraying too close, etc.?)

Which of these should I strictly save for cooler weather/evenings, and which ones are safe for high heat?

Would really appreciate a practical, step-by-step approach on how to handle this haul. Thanks in advance!

Help a Beginner out: Best Blind Buy ME Clones for 5 Seasons (Spring, Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Winter) from this list?

Hey fellow fragheads,

I am planning to build a solid 5-season rotation using Middle Eastern clone houses. I have narrowed down a list based on online hype, but since I am blind buying, I want to minimize the risk of getting a synthetic headache or bad longevity.

Given the Indian climate context (extreme humidity in monsoon, scorching summers, and dry winters), which ONE perfume from each list below is the absolute safest, highest-ROI blind buy for each specific season?

My Current Shortlist:

For Spring & Summer:

Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM)

Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense (SNOI)

Lattafa Fakhar Black

Maison Alhambra Yeah!

Afnan Modest Une (Pour Homme)

Afnan Supremacy Silver

Armaf Tres Nuit

Rasasi Fattan

For Autumn & Winter:

Afnan 9PM

Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa

French Avenue Liquid Brun

Lattafa Asad

Afnan 9PM Elixir

Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense (SNOI)

Lattafa Al Arak/Oudh Intense Oud

My Questions for the Sub:

  1. Spring: Which one gives the smoothest floral/fresh vibe without smelling like synthetic lemon cleaner?

  2. Summer: Which one survives high heat without turning cloying?

  3. Monsoon: Is Rasasi Fattan the undisputed king here due to the vetiver, or does something else work better in high humidity?

  4. Autumn: Looking for something cozy but not overly dense yet. Is Asad or SNOI better for transition weather?

  5. Winter: Khamrah Qahwa vs Liquid Brun vs 9PM Elixir—which one rules the cold weather in terms of performance and premium feel?

Looking forward to your suggestions! Thanks in advance.
