Ruining my life

I haven't been able to go outside cause these little fucks have a nest. I poked the hole to see if there was a nest and like 2 poked out. Im freaking so terrified, im planning to get some dust to coat the entrance but even doing that at night freaks me out. Fuck these things, I hope this works.

Found my youth goalie helmet

Painted Giguere the goat the legend, my entire reason for playing goalie. Beat the absolute hell out of though as god intended. Still beautiful despite the damage haha

Wasp going into my attic through a hole

I have a small ahh hole outside that i assume leads to my attic, I think they built a nest or a small one since I've had a good increase of them right outside my door. I have no way to verify this. Wtf do I do haha. I dont want them eating through the house to get out with like foam.

Lawn help!!

So I inherited this yard, im in Montana. Ive been trying to just water the hell out of it. I even broke up a chunk and laid seed and fertilizer in a small spot and got nothing. I think my yard is infested with quack grass. Its really rough and bumpy. The whole yard looks bare even though there is grass. Im just super unsure how to tackle this, not sure if I should just till the whole thing or just aerate and overseed with pre emergent in the fall. Just looking to give my daughter's a yard to play in. Im all ears and humble enough to admit i have little to no idea what to do hahaha

I thought CFB and Madden funded NHL games?

Wait I thought CFB and Madden were massive in terms to NHL and it should be restricted to Xbox and Playstation. Granted its steam but its literally the biggest pc storefront out there and it gets this. Im tired of the excuses. If they're gonna drop a game to this low of numbers we deserve NHL be ported to windows at this point. What are they going to do when consoles are window based? Just stop? Lol

Looking to vent a little

I have a 22 month old and 1 month old both girls. I like to think i check the boxes. Be a good husband, be a good Dad. I cook, clean, try to take the burden off my wife(she's a stay st home mom for now until the kids are in school). However, I feel like I'm to occupied in so many facets. I work hard, really hard. I just started a new job last year and am thriving(well at least I think haha). I'm on grind time because I'm trying to make more $$$ to pay off debts accrued between my wife and I in the next 3 years. I want to be able to take our kids on vacations, play sports, whatever ya know they want to experience. I want them to be able to explore that so im working hard now to be able to do it when it matters. However, I do find working after hours to learn/grow at my job or in an area involving it. Ill hang with the older kid for a few then hop back on. Take care of baby for a few hop back on. I feel addicted to this grind. This seeps over to other things as well, like just fixing the yard we inherited when we got our house(it was fked 3 years ago and still is now) i want my kids to be able to play and have a yard. So I try to do these things and find i don't spent a lot of true time with them. I mean I'm right next to them all the time(I have a mobile desk so im close). I feel like im not doing well at playing or activities. I feel obsessed to grind now and then let it pay off and dive in. I feel frustrated because I feel like I'm not doing good enough. I feel frustrated cause I just have no idea when else I can do this extra work. I feel a lot of things and I dont feel satisfied outside that I've met the minimum of providing and handling our finances. Idk, I love my kids and my wife absolutely crushes being a Mom and I feel like I'm just to self centered in wanting to grow, make more money, provide in that way that it takes my mind away from other things. I feel kind of lost cause I can't find that balance.

0 competition and it scares me

I am a Dad, freshly to 2 haha. I have been wanting to game dev for awhile. I did tutorials on unity, unreal, and godot to see which i feel like might jive better. Fast forward to now. I have a idea but its been done a total of three times. I want to develop a hockey game for switch 2. Specifically like a beer league style. Ive been playing hockey for 30 years and I've craved a good hockey game for switch. EA isn't doing it, and the other 3 games are great in their areas but dint scratch like just a too earth hockey game.

  1. My assumption that there isn't a game I'm looking for an alternative to EA NHL on switch is because its gotta be hard af right.

  2. I like to make money but it doesn't fuel me. However the sheer lack of any competition on switch makes it more lucrative from more of a it could be successful versus it could make money

  3. Im a fresh dad with a full time job. I dont sheit about 3d graphics, I know code since its apart of my job, and I know bare basics of the big 3 engines.

  4. Are you interested in the idea, even just chatting ideas would be very cool. I think step 1 is just a rough board, like 1 get good skating mechanics or physics. I'm not sure.

  5. Have you had this idea and its just to hard? Im really all ear before I lose my mind possibly diving into this.

Sigh

Another year hearing, hockey isn't big enough to port to PC and switch 2. Cause EU people are going to play cfb 27 right? Canadians probably foaming at the mouth to play Madden right. But at the same time the game is gonna be filled with slop and xfactors a shit pressure system. So I'll just sit on my balls another year.
