The amount of people that don't know the difference between an homage/inspiration and ripping off is alarming
Going on twitter (my first mistake) and seeing the amount of people saying the show is ripping off DBZ, ripping of Naruto, Ripping off AOT, ripping off Ranma (which is the wildest one to me) is crazy and I can do nothing but just shake my head in astonishment at how ridiculous these people are. They either have to be just completely lost or arguing in bad faith, very poorly arguing at that. I know it's twitter and nothing good comes from that place but it is a great place for fan art but the unfortunate part is sometimes you have to see these idiots posts. If people don't like the show that's absolutely fine to each their own of course but at least be reasonable about it
I know this sub tries not to have these rant posts but I just have to get this off my chest and this seems like the best place to do it.

What's up? When I go to switch account a pop up says reddit is under heavy load and to try again later. This always happens no matter how long I wait. When I refresh to page I'm logged out of reddit entirely
Edit: Just discovered now when using new reddit I can switch fine. Seems to be an issue with old reddit specifically?
Where does it happen? On the entire site.
What browser extensions are installed? The only other reddit extension i have is old reddit redirect

Thoughts on the Community Crafted event from someone who has finished it already
Ok I have slightly lied to, I am ALMOST finished. I only have 5 games minimum left to play as of making this post but I will play those games right after posting this because I want to vent a bit before saying goodbye to this god forsaken mode.
This mode is without a doubt the WORST of all the Community Crafted/experimental modes that have come before it, both from a balance and ability design standpoint and general game quality standpoint. I totally understand some of these changes are "haha funny ability" like the fact that torb and symm can put their sentries on JPCs head. I also understand that some of these changes are made with the idea of actually experimenting to then potentially implement later into the game in a real way. An example I remember off the top of my head is D.va's mech recall smash damage. My gripes are some of these changes are some of the most ass backwards, unfun, asinine changes to be tested and hope to little baby jesus they never see the light of day in the game. Why does Doom need to be able to slow everyone like every 5 seconds on top of having is uppercut back? Why are so many heroes given movement ability ON TOP of their already existing ability like Domina or Brig? Why are we completely gutting Vendetta and changing the little bit that makes her unique when she's already one of the worst heroes? Cass DOES NOT NEED to be invincible at any point from ANY of his abilities, he's already one of the best heroes in the game by far. Pharah does not need a slow, Reaper doesn't need another AOE especially not on a pretty short CD, and blah blah blah. Again I GET IT it's a wacky stupid mode to break and test shit I GET IT, but if anyone feels like me I hope this serves as a really good example of why the "Nintendo hire this man" argument should really never be implemented in a practical way. I like ML7 and I like Apply, they are better at the game than I can ever hope to be, but do NOT let them cook.
I will say this, not every change is terrible, it's just that the ones that are are ESSPECAILLY bad compared to previous events IMO. Some changes I really like are the Dva changes, they add some much more agency to her kit and make her the most fun to play in years. I think the rein changes are solid ideas to make him somewhat relevant again. Anran changes actually help her secure kills and make her feel like the fast dashing in and out hero she's suppose to be. As much as I find JPC annoying her new ult is such a better idea than her current one if only it needs to be tuned some more. And again blah blah you get it, some stuff good some stuff bad.
Lastly, real quick, I have no idea what has gotten into people's food recently but the quality of games/matchmaking in this mode is FUCKING HORRIBLE. I can not for the life of me understand how and why some people are playing like they do. I get it's arcade and the funny mode but holy shit, some of you just completely put your hands in your ass and just smash buttons praying. I fail to see how this gives Blizzard good data on these changes but that's just me.
This is mostly as a way for me to personally vent but feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and suck and don't know what I'm talking about or whatever else. Thank you for your time
TLDR: some changes really good, best ideas in years, others absolute ass and should never be put in the game. Arcade gives questionable data about changes. Streamers shouldn't be in charge of balance ever.
