So I just finished welding school in June and I’m having a hard time deciding what kind of welding job I want to do.

I already know what I don’t want to do and that is be in a tank, be high in the sky(even though sounds cool).

I’ve been looking at getting into custom fabrication because I love building things and making things but I don’t know where to start, I thought about making my own shop(but I don’t have the money to open one or buy all the equipment I would need), I’ve been looking into rails because it looks like a lot of fun, I also thought about trying to get into some kind of robotic welding, and lastly, I really want to get into pipe welding. Pipe welding was the whole reason why I wanted to start welding and go to welding school in the first place.

I really like art and designing things and making things and so I’m thinking of opening up my own custom fabrication shop. But don’t know how much I would need and what else I’d need? Is it easy to make a living out of making things? Honestly right now I want to do it for fun but I’d like to make a living off of it or atleast make it my side hustle if I could.

Do I really need to fill out every little thing in the daily journals in order for this thing to work? It’s so annoying and I’m starting to hate this thing. I thought I was just going to have to put it on, wear it and when I wanted to I’d go to the app and it would tell me how I’m doing and what to fix. I didn’t think I’d have to fill every little thing out in order to get results. It’s so annoying and I’m really starting to hate this thing. My helio strap did a better job at detecting things this thing hasn’t. It feels like that if I don’t fill out that annoying daily journal thing I won’t get any answers that I want.

Anybody else feel this way?

I like to do a skin fade haircut but don’t know a good razor to use. I’d like to use a cartridge razor because I’m scared to use a safety razor that close to my head.

1. Do I really need to charge it on my wrist?!

2. Can I wear it on my bicep all the time? I like wearing it on my bicep cause it’ll get dirty less on my bicep and it’s out of view and I can hide it better.

3. How often do you clean the band and sensor? What do you use to clean the sensor? Can I just use like dish washer soap and warm water?

4. Is there anything I need to know just starting out? And how can I understand how the app works better?

I just graduated welding school and now I’m looking for an entry level welding job in Pennsylvania or New Hampshire. I’m on the older side of life( older than 25) and feel like I’m just starting my life. I really like TIG or stick because I like a challenge lol. I thought about working in aerospace. I just want a welding job that pays good and has really good benefits and possibly a pension if companies still do that nowadays.

Also anybody know any good land you can buy in Pennsylvania or New Hampshire to make your own long range?

I have a garmin forerunner 965 and thought about getting a new watch. I use it for my full body workouts that I watch on YouTube. I use it for my sleep to track my heart and health. I’d also like to use it in the pool if I could.

Is garmin still the best one to go with or is there something better and if so which ones?

I’m looking at getting the garmin venu 4(for ecg), garmin venu x1, those are the only two really that have my eye. Are there better watches or will those be good enough for what I want?

I’m looking into getting into an entry level beginners welding job and just curious which ones are best that offer a pension and benefits?

Looking at adding a bipod and monopod to my SCAR 20s and just wondering what’s the Best Buy Once, Cry Once bipod and monopod? Also do I need to get the ARCA rail or picatinny rail?

Like the title says, how much acres would you need if you wanted to build your own range up to 1,000+ yards?
