Hello! My name is Zflazh i am a Animator who wants to become a Animation Director and Proffesional 2D Artist. At the mid 2025 I began my first animated film and episode "Neon Chronicles" which is the first time ive ever worked with a massive amount of people. I an quite new to the Indie Animation sphere. I take some inspiration from RWBY and

What i've learned and what my goal is with this:

-Blend western and eastern animation pipeline methods like genga to create something intuitive.

we had voice actors record alot earlier to animate around it to focus on being expressive when needed. I want to be intuitive by using free software like Krita. 80% of this Animation will be used with Krita and Blender,

Blender- 3D

DaVinci Resolve- Compositing

This makes it accessible. I also combine tradititonal storyboards, and time sheets. Working with people all around the world has its challenges since everything's remote. I want to play into this with marketing. Using platforms like Pixiv and alternate accounts that translate our posts internationally!

We've found ways to make great progress. Ive learned patience and how important direction is in correlation to quality. Directors and production managers are extremely important to how good the final result of the film will look.

(Were animators rushed? What creative decisions from the rough/LO phase were scrapped? Whats the focus for Composition? Etc.)

This is what has made me love this position for our first project! Even though this is for our portfolios, I believe TEAM NEON has found some extremely talented artist and animators along the way that wil create some incredible work in the future!

Perhaps by being intuitive we'll see the next era of Animation!

Neon Chronicles is a fantasy/action focused series more akin to a battle Shonen. Originally it is based off a One-Shot in the Kadokawa World contest.

In the world of Neon Chronicles the adventurers known as "Wayfarers" often gain titles during their careers.

Their main job is to slay beasts and help civilians navigate a dangerous world. In the this world, reputation is important. Stories and news travel quick.. Before you know it, a title and myth is created about a upcoming wayfarer or talent.

In the illustration is the wayfarer "Valorum" also known as the black knight.

As he travels through the first country "Lexia" he makes his mark as a wayfarerby operating solo on various quests.

-Neon Chronicles is a Original multi-media project that started as a Comic. Multiple Animated PVs will release to explore the world of "Orbissia."

Set in a world where humans awakened a mana called "Neo," Wayfarers battle monsters known as Creatura.

The story focuses on a black knight named Valorum, a dancer, and a young swordsman who seek to understand their power and protect the things important to them. Being a Wayfarer means adventuring the vast world, protecting the people, and being strong. But what lies beyond that?

Neon Chronicles is a fantasy series that takes place on a planet called "Orbissia"

The protectors of this world "Wayfarers" risk there lives to defeat the monsters known as Creatura.

Creatura come in different sizes, shapes, with different abilities. Some manipulating the body, Carrying poison, and more.

But one thing is certain. A Creatura first instinct is always violence.

With that, a Wayfarers first instinct must always be to defend and protect.

After the discovery of the mana known as "Neo" it has changed the world as they know it, giving humanities next generations an upper hand the last thousands of years. Even with this power, more threats lay ahead..

(There are more than just "Creatura". There are Astral Beasts, Dragons, and more variables..)

In Neon Chronicles, there was a book created to help newbie adventurers gain the upperhand when it comes to knowledge. (Above is concept art created by TEAM NEON.

This guide has 100 different survival rules for new wayfarers to survive on the road.

These rules range from simple survival tips, to detailed rules of engagement for Creatura. (Creatura=Monsters) (Neo=Mana)

Here are the first 25!

-------

1. Keep at least 1 copy of the Wayfaring Survival Guide within your party at all times!

2. When out on the road, always pack extra clothes, and specifically socks. Those wear out after miles and miles of travel, you'll be going far on your adventures so keep extras!

3. Make sure your pack load is no more than 30% of your total body weight. This makes sure you can carry all that you need, but still keep a moderate pace without getting exhausted. Even if you train hard and carry more than this, if you hike for miles you wont be ready to fight Creatura!

4. Make sure you are well rested when starting a journey, and before engaging Creatura. NEO fully restores in your sleep, so you'll need to be well rested!

5. Always follow guidelines on bounties for Creatura. They have specifications for your Wayfarer level, number within your party, and other specifications depending on who is calling for the hunt. These are just as much for your safety as for others.

6. Ensure you pack plenty of food and water, you won't make it very far if you're starving or dying of thirst! You can hunt or cook out in the field, but it might be easier to pack rations or dried goods.

7. When dealing with Royal Commissions, always bow in the presence of royalty. We have to pay these with the respect they deserve, Lexia counts on us to maintain decorum as Wayfarers. We must show that we are capable and professional when the royal family is in need.

8. Protect all other Wayfarers above all else, even the mission. Nobody should be left behind if they can help it. However, if the fight is lost, preserve yourself if you can. We want everyone to make it back to the hall alive.

9. Never endanger civilians. Ensure you are in control of your abilities and weapons at all times.

10. Disputes between Wayfarers are to be settled outside of missions, and out of the public eye. If a third party is needed to settle your dispute (weather contract related or not), see your Guildmaster for a session to be called, or an arbiter to be appointed.

11. Do not steal from other guild members. This is grounds for expulsion from every guild.

12. Silva is to be distributed equally among wayfaring party members when a mission is completed, with a bonus to be carved out for the mission leader (10% of the total).

13. Creatura Hearts are to be returned to your guild to be evaluated or studied. These are also worth a good deal of Silva.

14. Gather intel when possible before engaging Creatura. Information is just as useful as a sharp blade, so you should have both when you can!

15. Establish a retreat plan before engaging, this is especially important if you're in close quarters.

16. Battle records are encouraged after a contract is completed. These should include damages, Neon Bursts used, attacks, Creatura behavior, etc.

17. Confirm kills of Creatura on every contract. There should never be a "they probably died" entry in a battle report. A wounded Creatura will return, angrier too.

18. If you stay the night in the wilderness as a party, always have somebody awake on watch. Solo Wayfarers are encouraged to stick to one day missions.

19. Maintain your gear and weapons, if you serve them they will serve you!

20. Mounts and animals should be treated as party members on the road, ensure they are safe and well taken care of.

21. Camp duties should be split evenly by way of effort and time, this will keep squabbles about chores to a minimum.

22. Hygiene matters on the road just as much as in the city, ensure you bring toiletries to keep yourself clean, and clean when you can.

23. Do not leave refuse on the countryside. Apple core? Sure. Empty sword oil container? Absolutely not!

24. Keep your distance from most wildlife unless you are experienced in handling them or are hunting. No need to risk them hurting you, or you hurting them.

25. Keeping trophies is permitted from Creatura kills, so long as they can be carried back safely. This also includes Creatura hearts after they've been studied. Exceptional trophies might be displayed in the guild hall!

Introducing the Power System of my one-shot /Manga Neon Chronicles!

Every human in Neon Chronicles is capable of awakening the power of "Neo"

"What is NEO?"

"Neo" is a mana and energy source that is ever-present in the enviornment. Each human has the capacity and potential for using Neo usage.

The container in which the entire body holds neo is known as the "Spirit Vessel"

This vessel develops with age, exposure to Neo, and with different training methods that will eventually result in a..

"Awakening".

This awakening is the Elemental System.

Once a spirit vessel has reached a set amount of development, Neo will start to take on a new a elemental form for the user that is innate and comepletly natural.

The user cannot learn a new type of element.

The element is the property the users Neo takes form in. There are rare occurances in which the users Neo takes on multiple properties.

Those with the natural appitude for using different kinds of ELM NEO are called a "Multi Elementals"

ELMS:

Aura, Darkness, Light, Fire, Water, Ice, Electricity, Earth, Wind

"Skills and Techniques"

In neon chronicles there are specific skills used by many characters! They are seperated into categories known as...

"SKILLS"

Creation Skills:

"skills that create complex structures, seals, and objects that serve either a simple to technical purpose

Enhance Skills:

Skills that self buff, or stack boosts of energy onto each other. Physical application, infusion of element onto weapon etc.

Unique Skills:

Very technical skills that utilize multiple different aspects of creation, enhance, and other techniques. Usually taking years of development, high utility, and can be a passed down technique.

Neon Bursts:

Ultimate skills that use large portions of Neo.

"TECHNIQUES"

"Neo Skin"

A intermidiate level skill that coats the users body with protective energy defending them from combat. Not everyone can manage this barrier whilst in combat.

"Seal Arts"

Complex circular symbols that cast set effects. They compress Neo into small objects with high utillity. It takes a massive amount of practice to master Seal arts

Gate Seals: A portal that objects can travel through.

Detonation: Simple seal that explodes or deals damage upon touching.

Enhance: Cast a multiplying effect to ones Neo and movent, often used as a support or burst skill.

"Encantation"

A very slow style of charging energy that multiplies the potency by sealing Neo into words. They damage and range of skills charged by encantation are massive, and usually are used to power highly technical abilities or

creations.

Summary:

No human is given a set technique upon awakening Neo. Only an element. as they adapt to the element and learn a path/style from using their neo, their body improves in using it increasing the ease of use.

Those who learn and maximize one path, (Seal arts, or encantation for example) tend to become immensily powerful in their own right.

"Elemental Disorders"

Strange occurances within the elemental laws of Neo.

Coalition:

occurances in which 2 elemental natures merge during awakening technically creating one element with unique status affects or properties.

This is often seen as a very rare, with no known explanation than nature.

EX: Water and Fire- The users Neo is high presssure Steam/mist, with high temperature control.

About Light:

"The special meaning of "Light" in Neon Chronicles"

As oppose to regular fantasy series, healing is not a common skill in the world of Orbissia.

Only a elemental of the Light element is capable of restoring and recovering wounds. They are a rare type with high value especially on parties and quests.

I am "Zflazh!" the illustrator and creator of manga "Neon Chronicles Origin Of Yggdrasil" or simply NC (neon Chronicles)

I will dive into the first aspects to learn and maybe provoke some questions about my new series.

0- THE DARK AGE.

Before the current timeline the story takes place, was a dark period of war, and destruction from the monsters known as "Creatura" the oldest monsters ever recorded in history.

-1 ORIGIN OF YGGDRASIL "The Neo Sphere-

The Neo Sphere or sometimes called Seed Of Life is a comet that struct the core of the planet "Orbissia" in the mits of chaos during the Dark age.

It hit a country named "Xenia" thousands of years ago. The event would forever be known as "Genesis"

Steming from this fateful event is the essence and arrival of "Neo" into the world. A massive tree grew in the country of Xenia and the roots spread throughout the entire world with each country going through a rebirth reshaping the natural laws and contorting into something new. The Neo Sphere represents rebirth, and a new beginning. Some consider it a blessing as Neo became the turning point against the creatura, as other nation feared the power of mana(Neo).

-2 BIRTH OF "WAYFARERS"

Many guilds arised even during the Dark ages, but after "Genesis" the popularity of guilds increased. Specifically in a country called "Lexia". They were known for a gladiator and battle thirsty culture. Every kid wanted to be a knight or fight in colleseum matches to prove their strength.

Many kingdoms, guilds, and bloodlines, faded away through the dark ages, but one remained powerful through all.

A guild by the name of "Anemonius" it survived even through the dark ages continuing their tradtion to Genesis, the era of Neo.

A powerful dragon named Terra Primordias destroyed and took control over an entire part of lexias land, killing many people.. But one boy hailing from the destroyed village had swore to not fall. He was a sole survivor.

Primordias was so overwhelmingly powerful it defeated many high ranking knights and wayfarers who dared to challenge its domain.

The boy joined the guild Anemonius and vowed to return to defeat the dragon and bring peace to his home. After many years, he set on the quest and gave his life in a epic battle using the power of Neo to defeat the Primordial Dragon.

This story not only captured the hearts of every Lexian, but exploded and added meaning to the power of Neo. It could be used to do so much more. The sentimental meaning behind it was displayed, and his story became legendary. Other nations heard of it, and started forming there own "Wayfaring" Guilds. A neighbooring region eventually seeked an alliance with Lexia in later years and it inspired many others to this day.

This is only Lexia. How were other nations affected by the Neo Sphere? Where did it come from? How do some consider it a blessing while others consider Neo to be a curse? And what are the full affects of Neo worldwide?
