Hot take: I think the Doctor Who setting, especially the older / classic version is incredibly well suited for savage worlds.
Also the FASA rules because they break character abilities into 7 levels makes it easy to convert old modules into swade.

So a little backstory. Love Cyberpower's desktops, cannot stand their laptops. Back before I knew the horror stories of their laptops I purchased one (never again). After a year two main issues with the laptop. One - the monitor started screen burning. Haven't seen screen burn since the 1990s. Second, the keyboard started failing. Both within weeks after the warranty expired.
So I'm going to fix it myself (I've had experience and success in rehabilitating laptops and tablets). Of course, getting the part #s for these things is already problematic (its not listed on the invoice or easily seen). So I'm headed to CP's support system for what, I'm sure, will be months of back and forth emails before I badger them into giving me actual information.
From today's (08/09/26) comic:
"It's what my character would do" is an infamous phrase, often used by players to justify antisocial or downright game-disrupting actions.
Your character steals from fellow party members, or stabs innocent children, or broods in a dark corner of a tavern and refuses to take up the obvious adventure hooks the GM is desperately dangling in front of everyone, because that's how you created your character's personality and you have to play them that way?
The correct response as a GM:
No. Sorry. You're not playing the game properly. Create a character who gets along with their fellow PCs, isn't a sociopath, and has a reason to go on adventures. Otherwise it's you who are the problem, not the people around you trying to have fun and failing because you want to be edgy.
So Im going to finally make the jump into resin printig this year. I have a background in geochemistry so im not a stranger to chemicals and lab procedures. Indeed thats been the main reason why i haven't jumped in beforehand.
I'm going with one of the Mars set ups, and its mostly printing for miniatures and game tokens.
My big question is that i have two possible locations for this project. The first is in my basement office, next to the window. It's climate controlled and a furnished room. The downside is that i spend a lot of time in that room.
The second option is the garage next to a window. That room isn't climate controlled and has temps that fluctuate between 30F and 95F.
Neither are ideal and I'm torn as to which way to go (although I'm leaning towards garage). Thoughts?
Spaghetti Eis at the Eisgarten by Jack Roberts Park in Morgantown. Its vanilla ice cream with strawberry topping "sauce", white chocolate parmesean cheese and red velvet meatballs.
It is getting absurd.
I was never 100% happy with what came out in the 80s, and stuff since then has always been close, but not perfect for me. So, like so many others, I've added my interpretation of a single page (both sides) generic character sheet to the list. Hope it helps someone.
