I have a 1500$ budget and I would like a 65 inch TV

I have been researching for the past week and I'm still torn. Apparently any TV under 1000$ is not worth considering, and any TV under 2000$ seems to have significant shortcomings.

I will be using my TV mainly for movies and ice hockey. In my living room, but I have curtains so I dont think sunlight would be too bad. And I mostly watch TV at night anyway.

My current options seem to be the LG B6e and the Hisense U7SG.

Hisense:

+ Good brightness

+ Vivid colors

+ Good contrast/blacks (for non OLED)

+ Good with reflections

- Motion artifacts

- Bad viewing angles

LG:

+ Perfect blacks/contrast

+ Vivid colors

+ Wide viewing angle

- Not very bright

- Not very good with reflections

- ADL could be a problem for hockey (being mostly being bright white)

-OLED stuttering

Does anyone have advice or experience regarding these TV's or any other models that would fit my needs?

Looking to get the u7sg as it's supposedly the best TV in that price range, but the RTINGS video mentioned something about it being not very good with fast movements. At the same time they have it ranked as best in the sports category as well. If anyone has this TV and watches hockey, how is it?

Are there any independent bookstores in Saint John? I'm moving there soon and last time I went the employee at Indigo told me they are the only bookstore in town.

I was looking to order a book but it's not on the Indigo website so I'd prefer to support local than order it from amazon if possible.

Just finished The Pearl and... Wow. I'm not sure how I feel. The read was great but that ending is something else. I understand the message that this book is telling but at the same time It's awful and undeserved. I can't put it into words. 10/10 will never read again.

Anyone has thoughts they want to share?

Heads up for anyone coming from out of the country, I wasn't able to buy beers with my driver's license from Canada, which is beyond stupid. Apparently they need a passport or US issued ID. What a joke....
