In 24 hours to hell and back how did Gordon choose his guest?

Whenever I watch shows like 24 Hours or Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon would bring in guests that he would subject to such terrible dining on any of his shows? Did they know what they were in for? These questions have always bugged me about these shows.

Need help identifying a super invasive vine that has me at my wits end

I’m in northern Indiana and I have this vine that we noticed last year that is choking out every plant we have. I’ve pulled hundreds of feet of it out down to the ground and it still comes back. I’m not sure what else I can do with it/to it but it’s slowly killing everything from flowers to trees in my yard.

2018 Jeep compass several issues thinking its electric?

So my wife has a 2018 jeep compass and out of the blue today its decided to throw the following service issues

  • service 4wd
  • service parking brake
  • service hilll holder

I may have the terminology wrong on some of these but thats the general issues shes got. This car had a host of electrical gremlins over the summer from the aux battery and main battery going out, and it seems like some of them might be related to that? Last summer we replaced both the aux and main batteries on the car after banging my head for a week on figuring that out. I guess my main question is do I start looking there or is there another culprit I should be aware of? Thank you in advance.

Crew Game settlement $7 cash with reciept $15 ubisoft credit without

I had this one come in today was in my spam folder:

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

Cassell, et al. v. Ubisoft, Inc., Case No. 25CV014305

(Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Sacramento)

This notice is to inform you of the settlement of a class action lawsuit against Ubisoft, Inc. (“Ubisoft”) that may affect your rights. Plaintiffs Matthew Cassell, Alan Liu, and Angel Cerrato allege that Ubisoft misled consumers into believing that when they purchased Ubisoft’s video game, The Crew, consumers were paying for ownership rights over The Crew when consumers were only receiving a limited license to access The Crew. Plaintiff Angel Cerrato also alleges that when Ubisoft shut down its servers on which it operated The Crew, Ubisoft caused the in-game currency he and Class Members purchased, Crew Credits, to expire in violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. §1693 et seq. Ubisoft denies these claims. The Court has not ruled in favor of Plaintiffs or Ubisoft. Instead, the parties agreed to a Proposed Settlement to avoid the expense and risks of continuing the lawsuit.

Am I a Class Member? Our records indicate you may be a Class Member. Class Members are all individuals in the United States who, at any time, purchased the Video Game (The Crew), on any platform, and/or who purchased any Virtual Content, including all associated downloadable content, expansions, and/or virtual currency for the Video Game, including but not limited to “Crew Credits.” You are not a Class Member if you obtained the Video Game for free without purchase, including but not limited to, any free trial, game sharing feature, multi-game subscription service, or as a reward to your subscription to a specific subscription service (e.g., PlayStation Network or Xbox Live).

What Can I Get? A Settlement Fund of $2,000,000 has been established to pay all valid claims submitted by the Settlement Class. If you are entitled to relief, you may submit a claim to receive a share of the Settlement Fund. A share of the Settlement Fund will be in the form of one of two options per Class Member; a Cash Option of $7 or a Credit Option of $15. All Credits are subject to the following conditions: Credits are redeemable at the Ubisoft store only; Credits are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and cannot be combined with other coupons, vouchers, or code-based offers; Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards; and if items purchased with Credits are returned, canceled, or exchanged, the Credit’s value shall be deducted from any refund.

How Do I Get a Payment? To receive a payment for the Cash Option or Credit Option, you must submit a timely and complete Claim Form by mail or online, submitted or postmarked no later than June 11, 2026. You can submit the claim form online at www.CrewGameSettlement.com. If you selected the Cash Option, your payment will come through the digital payment method you selected on the Claim Form, such as a digital MasterCard, PayPal, or Venmo. If you selected the Credit Option, you will receive the Credit via the valid current email address associated with your Ubisoft account. If you do not have a Ubisoft account, you must create a Ubisoft account and you will receive the Credit via the email address associated with that account creation.

What are My Other Options? You may exclude yourself from the Class by sending a letter to the settlement administrator no later than July 13, 2026**.** If you exclude yourself, you cannot get a settlement payment, but you keep any rights you may have to sue Ubisoft over the legal issues in the lawsuit. You and/or your lawyer have the right to appear before the Court and/or to object to the proposed settlement. Your written objection must be filed no later than July 13, 2026**.** Specific instructions about how to object to, or exclude yourself from, the Settlement are available at www.CrewGameSettlement.com. If you choose to stay in the Class, and the Court approves the Settlement, you will be legally bound by all orders and judgments of the Court, and you won’t be able to sue, or continue to sue, Ubisoft as part of any other lawsuit involving the same facts or claims that are in this lawsuit. This is true even if you do nothing by not submitting a claim.

Who Represents Me? The Court has appointed Bursor & Fisher, P.A. to represent the class. These attorneys are called Class Counsel. You will not be charged for these lawyers. If you want to be represented by your own lawyer in this case, you may hire one at your expense.

When Will the Court Consider the Proposed Settlement? The Court will hold the Final Approval Hearing at 9:00 AM on November 13, 2026, at the Tani Cantil-Sakauye Sacramento County Courthouse, 500 G Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, or as otherwise ordered by the Court. At that hearing, the Court will hear any objections concerning the fairness of the Settlement; determine the fairness of the Settlement; decide whether to approve Class Counsel’s request for attorneys’ fees and costs up to $800,000; and decide whether to award the Class Representatives $5,000 each for their services in helping to bring and settle this case. Class Members who support the Proposed Settlement do not need to appear at the hearing or take any other action to indicate their approval. You may hire your own lawyer to appear in Court for you if you wish; however, if you do, you will be responsible for paying that lawyer on your behalf. If you desire to appear remotely, you may do so via the following Zoom link or phone number:

How Do I Get More Information? For more information, including a more detailed Notice, Claim Form, a copy of the Settlement Agreement and other documents, go to www.CrewGameSettlement.com, contact the settlement administrator at 1-888-814-8490 or by writing to the Cassell, et al. v. Ubisoft, Inc. Settlement Administrator, 1060 Broadway, Suite 304, Albany, NY 12204.

Please do not contact or telephone the Court, Defendant, or Defendant’s attorneys to inquire about the Settlement or the claims process.

So the diverter in my last spout failed and I couldn’t get a repair kit last night. I did get sold the idea of replacing the old spout by my wife. I replaced the spout after the old spout and pipe were I’m assuming 5 1/4 inch as I’ve gotten a 5 which was too short and 5 1/2 which feels like a thread too long(see photos.) what’s concerning is with the 5 1/2 is it works fine on bath tub but when I turn it onto a shower mode it leaks out the back of the shower now. I’m wondering if I missed something? I did plumbers tape on both ends and everything screwed together just fine
