How often do you weigh yourself? Trying not to get frustrated by fluctuations on the scale but it’s hard.

Backstory: We have a 3 year old son and I’m almost 32 weeks pregnant with baby #2 (girl). We sent our 3 year old to an in-home daycare starting at 12 weeks, and we will be /sending our daughter there after my maternity leave. We started looking into 3k school options for our son this past spring, and per multiple friend’s recommendations we toured a school near us that happened to have openings for this summer and this fall for 3k. Many others I contacted were already full for both. The more my husband and I talked about it, we decided it would be best to transition our son to his new school this summer versus in September (baby girl is due August 23). We thought having a baby sister at home AND transitioning to a new school would be too much change at one time for him.

Here is where I need advice. He started at his new school June 1, and he’s constantly talking about how he doesn’t want to go. He cries in the mornings immediately when he wakes up, and whines/cries until drop-off & after we leave. The minute we pick him up and are walking to the car, he tells us he doesn’t want to go to school tomorrow. On weekends, he tells us he doesn’t want to go to school on Monday. When we ask him why he doesn’t want to go, he says he just doesn’t like it, or he’ll say bizarre things like he doesn’t like the color of the door there. He even went as far to tell us he doesn’t want to go to school because he doesn’t like our neighbors new siding color (lol what?!).

I chaperoned a field trip with his school yesterday, and all of the kids/teachers are great so I’m not concerned about his safety or anything like that. Even yesterday when I stayed at his school with him, he cried on the way and he cried in the classroom (I was always within 5 feet of him).

Just looking for advice/ideas/suggestions, ANYTHING. It’s been such a struggle and we thought by now he would adjust. Thanks in advance.

My mom was diagnosed with stage 2b, non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma earlier this week. During her PET scan, they saw a spot on her breast (maximum SUV of 3.3). She had a mammogram today, and we received the results that there’s a 1.9 cm solid mass with high suspension for malignancy. Just wondering if anyone has faced both lung and breast cancer at the same time? When it rains it pours.
