Starting out - disapointed

I just started out and did a total of 10 hours in three sessions. I started on Chaturbate and Stripchat.

I'm male, i got e decent body - but i'm not ripped. Im 26. I'm located in Europe.
I need to say that i don't show all of my face. Others looking about the same and also not showing face have full chatrooms. I think I'm comparable. But it's obvious that ripped studs got their rooms the fullest (I mean men are very visual creatures).

I have barely got people in my room. Most of the are just other streamers, mostly women.
On both sites I got 20 tokens. Maybe I'm expecting too much? I only got like 10 guys, who have a record of tipping a lot, in the full 10 hours.

I know there is much more than looks. I worked as escort before. But online, I'm not sure what people are expecting. And I'm not sure what I'm supposed to deliver.

Commission request

I’ve had a design idea in my mind for quite a while and I’m wondering if someone here might be interested in helping me make it real.

It’s a minimalist document envelope inspired by classic paper envelopes, but reinterpreted in leather. The idea is a clean, simple piece for carrying documents, sketches, or even a tablet.

I’m not an expert in leatherwork, so I’m very open to suggestions—especially regarding material choice, construction methods, and what would be realistically possible in terms of production.

Advice on choosing leather

Hi everyone!

After wanting to get into leathercraft for years, I finally bought my first set of tools (thanks to the pinned beginner guide!). I haven't found the weekly questions thread :)

Now I'm trying to choose my first leather, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'd prefer to buy leather that comes from animals raised for meat production or from wild game, ideally from regional suppliers. So far I've found two local tanneries that sell mostly vegetable-tanned leather, but they only offer natural leather or a very limited range of colors.

I'd love to make colorful projects. I know the bright, even colors used by large brands come from is not achievable, but it made me wonder:

  • How practical is it to dye vegetable-tanned leather yourself?
  • Is it something a beginner should consider, or is it harder than online videos make it look?
  • Are there good alternatives if I want more color options? For example, lining a dyed or colored leather onto a natural full-grain leather make sense, or are there better approaches?

I'd really appreciate hearing what experienced leatherworkers recommend for someone just starting out.

How to check if my Scoby is healthy?

Just finished my first batch of kombucha and bottled it for F2! 🎉 I drank half of it right away because it was so good 😁.

My original plan was to do a continuous brew in a glass dispenser, but the faucet leaks, so that's on hold.

My main question is: how do you tell if your scoby / culture is healthy? I had a hard time getting a scoby where I live, so I'd really like it to not die.

The scoby sank after a 2-3 days, then floated back up after I added fresh sweet tea. It hasn't really grown much, but it has changed color a bit (much darker). I saw online that it kind of grows in layers, mine didn't (I feel like it's a little thinner, but maybe I'm imagining this). I'm worried the culture isn't active enough, especially since I left it sitting for about two days after I think all the sugar had been used up.

I also live somewhere that's only warm enough for brewing during summer (16-20°C in winter), and sometimes life gets busy. 😅 If I leave the culture sitting in finished kombucha for a few days / weeks, will it be okay? (I know I can put it in a small jar and in the fridge, but that's not the plan) And if my appartement is too cold, does it just ferment more slowly? Would using more than 10% starter tea help?

I'd love to hear what more experienced brewers think!

Honestly, i think lube just tastes disgusting. I also don't like to kiss someone after sucking me, when I already was inside him. It just tastes not good.

I'ts not really an issue, but for me it takes out spontaneity.

Not so happy with progress

Hi everyone,

I've been going to the gym for a little over a year, but with a long break in between, because of outside circumstances. My timeline was roughly:

  • 3 months training
  • 6 months break
  • 4 months training

In both training periods together I did around 70 sessions and usually train 3 times per week.

My relationship with the gym is a bit mixed. I enjoy getting stronger, but I find training pretty boring, so I've focused on making it fit into my routine rather than maximizing results.

I'm still doing the workout a trainer gave me when I started. I only do one working set per exercise because it keeps the workouts short and sustainable for me. A friend of mine who is quite experienced also trains this way and he's ripped.

I'm 174 cm tall and weigh about 65 kg and now getting 27 years old, male.

Current progress (mostly 9-12 reps, usually 12):

  • Leg Extension: 45 kg → 65 kg
  • Leg Curl: 35 kg → 55 kg
  • Leg Press: 90 kg → 160 kg
  • Abdominal Crunch: 47.5 kg → 75.5 kg
  • Back Extension (45°): 20 kg → 20 kg (I'm cautious because of back injury concerns)
  • Machine Row: 55 kg → 75 kg
  • Assisted Pull-Up: 30 kg assistance → 15 kg assistance
  • Chest Press: 40 kg → 55 kg
  • Shoulder Press: 20 kg → 45 kg
  • Cable Bicep Curl: 15 kg → 22.5 kg
  • Cable Tricep Pushdown: 12.5 kg → 22.5 kg

Most of this strength increase happened during the first 3 months. After the 6-month break, it only took me about 1-2 weeks to get back to my previous weights.

I can definitely tell that I've gotten stronger, and my friend was impressed by the progress and how disciplined I'm looking for good form. However, I haven't built much muscle. (I haven't weighted myself when starting out) I don't track calories, but I usually eat well over 100 g of protein per day. My calorie intake may be a bit low on some days, but sometimes on the higher side as well.

My main questions are:

  1. Is this reasonable progress for the amount of training I've done?
  2. Is the lack of muscle gain just genetics, are my expectations too high?
  3. What would give me the biggest return on investment if I want to keep gym time low?

I'd appreciate some feedback.

Ich bin fertig mit kei Luscht meh ha.
Am Morge wele ufstah für öppis wär mal schön.
