Finally found a reason to use the sun earthquake device and my boris amp
noise.
lots of noise.
noise.
lots of noise.
my partner and I started making these during the pandemic as a way to lighten the mood, as she was working full-time at a very busy morgue.
many years later we now have artists from across the world contributing while still selling them for as inexpensive as possible, which I think we ended up at $5 each once we had all our own printers and paper folders.
if anyone is interested, we currently have the whole set up for $25, with free CONUS shipping
I was considering going to the Lash! event, but for the price, I was just hoping to hear some feedback before skipping other events going on that night.
I was in a rush to get tickets for the tear garden show in los Angeles, on September 14th.
I accidentally bought 4 vip instead of the two I needed and I was wondering if anyone knew a place other than ticket master to sell them.
I tried posting them at cost through their horrible app, but for some reason the $264 get some auto offer from ticket master for $15 total.
dug these out while packing my bags.
its been a fun yet expensive and sometimes frustrating experience, but these are almost done
my friend and I are teaching ourselves how to make resin toys and they were telling me about how much they loved the art and colors of this sunn o))) album, so we risked a bit and tried to decently replicate it.
hi. i am trying to submit some of my art to a hippie themed art show, so i was trying to make a die cut or a perforation on it, reminiscent of the old hippie blotter art.
i saw a video of someone using the sizzix to do so, but i was unsure if they used a custom die for that, or if that was just a ready made die that they used that was available.
does anyone have any experience with this?
any recommendations for amps, pedals?
or does it just need a smoke machine and knob that goes to 11?
I considered selling it elsewhere, but I'm also up for trades if anyone has some interesting things.
every time we go there we think of all the awesome shows we unexpectedly got to see over the last couple of years.
if you're ever in Austin, check this place out.
it's ao5 gallery.
the owner is an old school punk rock / goth weirdo that we adore.
i was talking to some friends that i take to concerts and we were laughing about the random things we have have seen happen at shows, but usually tool shows were the craziest.
from scalpers fighting and threatening each other, to the time danny played the gong with a dong.
a friend was telling me about some guy that followed the band around until the point where he was given, allegedly, a cease-and-desist because of his weird behavior.
just hoping to read some more funny stories that happened at some tool shows while i organize some things.
i bought mine during the show about a month ago, saw a shipping label created, but have zero response to emails asking about it, nor any shipping updates.
just wondering if anyone got theirs in the mail yet.
just sharing because sometimes organizing is nice.
i have more, somewhere, just can't remember where currently.
thanks to a buddy from years ago...
another two sided test print from way back when
