i realllllllly like her haircut! but her POV on the show was all over the place. i think it was very important to her that the audience understands she walked away from vanderpump rules, not the other way around. which… idk who thought that, but ok.

she was so weird with katie. like, please just pick a focused reason that youre mad at katie and commit to that. idk if it was editing or if she was scrambling but she was all over the place in the argument with katie. i think she had valid points about going to mexico to be supportive + the pregnancy thing. im actually in her side bc katie should’ve reached out to her during and after the pregnancy. i’m strongly child free but i wouldn’t expect a pregnant woman to come check in on me. bc she’s you know… pregnant.

it was like whiplash the next day when they made up at lunch. i’m guessing bc boss stassi told her to. but me personally i wouldn’t fick with katie if i was christina — katie wasn’t a good friend to her.

lastly, at the dinner she’s going on and on and yelling about her own relationship. like… girl who are you mad at? why are you screaming at stassi bc you’re afraid to talk to your man when he comes home? o hey that she relates to beau but i saw as her unloading on stassi in lie of bringing it to her man bc she doesn’t want to rick the boat with him directly. on the one hand i get you want to keep peace at home but… that was a weird move in my opinion

taylor: trying to hard
feel like taylor is trying too hard to give “reality star” to be popular on the show. i don’t mind that she confronted people or whatever but her confessionals were so cringe. idk, i didnt find them authentic. however i do think it was super real when she told katie “i just think you’re hear bc you want to take my spot” — that honestly surprised me.

but i don’t think she’s funny at all. is it just me? at one point she says something like “i was so embarrassed i wanted to crawl into my own vagina.” like- ok i see what kind of joke she’s trying to make but it’s just not funny at all. i’m not saying it’s offensive i think it’s actually quite lame bc again… not funny.

and i HATE HATE HATE when she tries using sprinkles of AAVE or The Habitual “Be” (ex. “you know how i be.”) to show how apparently she doesn’t give a fuck and she’s the friend who will go there. taylor, stop. not believable in the slightest she needs to get off tik tok and just talk normal. there’s nothing wrong with being a 40 year old rich white lady, so just… be yourself. please, i’m begging you lol

questions:

1. how can i manage my two main anxieties/fears without putting it on my boyfriend? my emotions so my problem.

2. how do i know if my fear is coming true?

fears:
2a) not sure if he want me specifically, or if he wants a placeholder. would basically any woman do? i have low self esteem at times so its hard to see that someone wants me for me rather than what i can do for them

2b) he genuinely does not have time for a relationship and i will never leave the back burner.

3. we’ve been together sense march — at what point is it fair for me to want to be more of a priority while respecting his autonomy?

details:

1. i don’t have money for therapy rn and im too embarrassed to ask my friends, so im asking reddit
2. this is my first relationship in a long time. trying to be healthy this time around so im in new territory
3. we are somewhat long distance with is new for me. live an hour apart.
4. i know i have attachment weirdness, so im writing to see if my feet are in the floor if im getting stirred up, again
5. i do have a history of anxiety, i’m wayyyyyy better now but the “bug” still lingers and that “cricket” does “chirp” from time to time

likes:

i can’t tell if im wanting too much. we live in a major city and i know i want to date a professional. so im assuming the downside is that a professional in a major city is going to be busy so i cant really get upset. or can i? i cant tell

that was intense! i was some type of scared the 95% of the movie

i liked the shift from Rise to Burn. Stayed with the family dysfunction trope, but i went from rooting for the family Rise to rooting against the family - except Alice and Thya - that family SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED.

in the case of porsha and phaedra spinning these lies about kandi, i have so many questions!! i knew it was fucked up when it came out but now that my brain is fully developed its landing even worse.

my questions:
1. why the hell did they start all these lies about kandi? it seems like phaedra was mad at kandi for not being more attentive. so phaedra befriended porsha and later deployed her against kandi with the bill cosby rumors. and since porsha is stupid, she went with it. is that it? anymore to the story?

2. any guesses as to why phaedra would go this low? i get that she wanted more support but this was overly wild!!!!

i’d like to assert that Sheree Whitfield faked her whole story line in s1. i welcome add one and rebuttals. please forgive me if this has been done to death, i’m new

1. the fashion show w no fashions
as presented: the seamstress didn’t finish the project in time + what was completed was poor quality; effectively ruining the fashion show.

HOWEVER!
how do we know she didn’t manufacture this? i can see a world in which she either (a) placed the order too late or (b) saw she was running out of time, then installed the fake plot points in place to save face. better to be sabotaged through no fault of your own, than to perform poorly in screen. in 2009 it would’ve been ease to fine people to play along for a couple hundred bucks.

2. Nene left off the guest list
as presented: sheree hosts the party of the century and harps on the guest list like 80 million times in the episode. when Nene shows up, she is not on the list; sheree pretends to care.

HOWEVER!
obvious stunt. she laid the guest list foundation in too thick and that gave it away.

3. 7 figure divorce
as presented: sheree asserted she was expecting seven figures upon divorce completion.

BUT!
aint no way he has the cash for that. he’s too dumb to have grown his wealth post-NFL career.

season 3 4, morty has an opportunity that will take him away from rick, so rick steals his enthusiasm for the project away to keep him rick’s beck and call.

reminded me a lot of the episode of season 1 of bojack when bojack helps todd relapse to sabotage his play to keep him home with bojack.

back to rick: this plan when on for the better part of a month and clipped morty’s wings when he was trying to self actualize.

to me that’s waayyyy worse than beth be cloned after asking rick who she should be. however. i must say i am biased bc i dont enjoy beth’s character.

morty was trying to be something and rick took it away out of insecurity, etc. to me that way more fucked up and crazy manipulative.

It’s true. I’ve always been team Kyle. I understand that I am flawed, my opinion is bad, and I haven’t watched enough of the show to know better — but I don’t care. Nothing could ever turn me away from this man.

My watching journey
For years, my bravo diet consisted of housewives, exclusively. But then I randomly watched traitors. Ciara was there, liked her, so I decided to watch summer house. First episode I ever saw was the season 8 reunion when Kyle had that mullet, he and Amanda were getting along, and he cried for Ciara. I was sold immediately. (I’m from the south so I wasn’t mad at the mullet. The face card is too strong)

It wasn’t until he’d already stolen my heart that I learned of previous questionable behavior. Didn’t even care lol — before Amandavol broke, I always thought of Amanda as a “white colored pencil”: present but inactive and unnecessary. So I didn’t really care about their relationship at any point, so the cheating or whatever didn’t push me away. Yes I know betrayal is bad but like- whatever. She knew what it was when she signed up, so it’s hard to care. Yes, it’s bad to curse and scream at your gf/fiance/wife, but like… she… l- 😮‍💨

And yes, a late stage dj career is not great. But, whatever. I see the problems, but I just don’t care. Face card too strong and he cared a black women’s feelings that one time, so I’m fan. He’s my problematic fav 🍻💁🏼‍♂️🎤💛

EDIT: The Kyle / Amanda dynamic: to me, they always looked like two people who married each other's "potential" but not for who they currently were. I think Kyle married Amanda because "one day, she could be fun" and Amanda married Kyle because "one day, he could be serious," and those days never came. Kyle will never be serious and Amanda will never be fun lol
