Part of my Senna collection.

I bought this quite a long time ago. Thought you all might like to see it. One of my favourite bits of my collection. Just sits on the shelf in my study.

July 23rd Drops

It looks like all three of the new creator items will drop simultaneously. Given how hard it is to actually get any popular RLC/Creations item it looks like it will be impossible to get all three items on the day. Clicking through three items to add to basket and then process the order is just going to be far too slow based on how fast you need to click through a single item to be able to get one.

I'm not sure why these drops couldn't be scheduled at intervals across the day.

I guess the answer is multiple accounts or bots.

The good old S550 Corrosion Conundrum - UK

I've been looking at a few of these and finding that anything pre-2021 has some bubbling (and it's a matter of time before newer ones get it).

I really like the cars but the corrosion is a real buzz kill as it's not something I could really live with. Ford's response to sorting. it appears to be inconsistent at best. I've not seen a single one yet that has had all the bodywork inspections stamped in the book which they seem to require for any help.

Elsewhere people quoting 6k for replacement panels.

I know it's not just a Mustang issue with aluminium but is there a decent fix?

It seems to be something that just happens and is a feature you need to find something to like about?

Sales have just died.

Is anyone else seeing a massive drop off in sales?

Historically, for years, I would be pretty consistent in selling a couple of things a day. May dropped slightly, June has stopped dead.

No account issues, no changes on my side. Is this the impact of eBay Live? Have other platforms made changes which are killing eBay?

It's a striking drop off and I'd obviously like to understand the drivers.

UK Mustang Choices

I'm looking at getting a Mustang. The UK market is pretty difficult to get a solid read on as things are still selling down after the S650 introduction.

I'd been thinking about a 2020 Bullitt - low miles, magneride. They're about £42k.

Mach1s are about £5k more, but I prefer the Bullitt in terms of spec to and how the car will be used.

A late S550 GT in good spec is also about £42k but I'd discounted those in favour of the Bullitt as the spec is preferable and depreciation seems better.

However, looking around this week, £47k buys a S650 GT about a year old, so we're getting to a point where there's overlap between the S550 and S650 (accepting some spec differences). As a further reference point, a used S650 Dark horse starts around £55k.

To complete the picture, dealers are also offering decent discounts on new cars, with 0% finance. New Dark horse £67k, new GT £57k. In real terms, that looks like a £10k+ hit in year one due to depreciation plus the tax and I'm not going to swallow that. (Total for the 3 year finance package is about 50% of list price).

Assume I'm going to keep the car 3 years. 5k miles a year, road use only. Not a daily driver. No auto box. Overall cost of ownership is a consideration, obviously, but so is hassle both in terms of reliability and stuff like bubbling paint issues. I'd stump up the money for extended warranty on anything out of factory warranty (700 a year).

TLDR: I think it boils down to 2020 Bullitt vs S650

Which would you buy, and why? Thanks

Edited to update with new details received this morning.
