The Stonks airport toilet maze

The Stonks airport toilet maze

I had a dream of an airport toilet maze where the toilets aren't completely open but there's a hole in the door and NPCs who look exactly like Stonks come to check on you while you're there and they behave in a very stereotypical way

Which one is your favorite 💛 🩷🩵?

I definitely love limonada gelada more than expected. The other ones, a little less but they're still good.

Such a good lotion but I can't wait to try the 39 one 😍

And it's on the way, it was finally available today in ny country so I immediately ordered it!

Do you get breaks from your T?

Do you have some moments where you don't hear it if you're busy doing something or maybe in the shower or outside or somewhere else? Or you do you hear it constantly over everything?

What about dreams? Do you have it in dreams or not?

Legal actions after an injury

Hello everyone,

What legal actions can I take after suffering an injury while stepping out of a Migros? What would be the first steps ? Some teenagers were throwing some firecrackers and one landed next to me. Wrong time, wrong place unfortunately for me. My ear has been injured and since then I've been on medical leave trying to recover from that.

Thank you for your advice !

Trying to avoid exposure to noises but they still get me

I thought I was doing better and yesterday was already a more difficult day because of a morse code like tone that was pretty intrusive.

I always keep my soundbar at the lowest (Razer Leviathan) and for no reason this time the sound went up without me doing it and I didn't even realize it. I joined a call and it made a sound louder than usual and it traumatised me because I wasn't expecting it. Everything feels too loud for me so I can't even tell and I can't even tell at which volume it was. Was it at the max? I have no idea. The sound was maybe for 2 seconds.

I checked and the soundbar isn't supposed to go up to 90 db and I did a test and it didn't went up to 88 db but I'm still worried. And there was no reason for this to happen and for the volume to go up like that as I changed nothing.

I try so much to protect my ears and don't even go so much outside and things like that keep happening...

I tried to relax and not stess too much and managed some sleep but it was still bad. Today, I can't tell if it's worse or not since my T fluctuates and change tones from one day to another and sometimes throughout the day. I don't know if I've already had a spike or not or how it's supposed to feel. Is it supposed to become a bit louder? Change tones?

Have you already experienced situations like that with sudden sounds? Has it affected your T?

Thank you.

Do you get a lot of SBUTTs?

I do and just before I had one that lasted a bit longer than usual in my right ear (supposedly my good one) but still just a few seconds and it was that sound, that ringing and it really scared me. I'm always scared that it could last or stay even if it usually doesn't. How not to panic? When I get a SBUTT in my left ear (the injured one) it sounds broken. Yes the ringing sounds distorted.

It left me with a dizziness and I'm feeling sick like I want to throw up. Sometimes my hearing is also muffled with those pressure changes. It looks like my ears struggle to regulate their pressure and some days it's worse like with allergies or like today with rain. Also the static sound of rain is making my ears react (less than before though) and it's a bit tiring for them and for my brain. I wasn't able to use white noise before because of the reactiveness but now my tolerance is becoming better. But it's still overwhelming.

Do you also get them a lot?

I'm really stressing over a lot of things right now like a motorbike

It looks like after 5 months my T was getting a bit better so I'm doing everything I can to try to keep that progress.

Today, near where I live I did a little walk without earplugs because it's calm and I always do that but there's an underground parking and I was walking close (I can't say how many meters exactly but apparently more like 2 or 3) and there's a motorcycle that comes out. I managed to go a little further away and put my sony earphones on even if the ANC wasn't on. Now I'm stressing. But we can't always avoid everything so how are we supposed to do? Constantly wear earplugs everywhere? Or some of you have already had a motorbike close to you without any protection for a few seconds and it was fine?

Terrified about colds and getting sick

5 months since I have tinnitus for the second time in my life (had it before and it vanished). I haven't been sick since my new T onset.

I work in the medical field but since I've been on medical leave since then I haven't been exposed to any viruses.

I'm trying to give time to my ears to heal but there are some things that seem to be unavoidable.

It seems to be slowly getting better but yesterday it was calmer than usual. I don't want to lose my progress. Sadly my mom is currently sick and I've been in contact with her.

How have you dealt with getting sick? Aren't you scared that this would make the T worse?

How do you manage to go back to your lives?

Hello everyone,

How do you manage to live? Go back to work?

I'm currently on medical leave.

It looks like I'm stressing after being exposed to a 75-80db sound for not even 15 minutes and with earplugs on (they're custom made and - 25db) while prior to that, I've already been in tramways (not frequently but just to go to my appointments sometimes) where the sound is more like 80-85db and for the same amount of time and just with my ANC earbuds and everything was fine. And this time it was a Uber where he had some music on.

I'm probably overthibking everything and wondering if I'm taking risks or not. I'm not going to concerts or bars or restaurants or movies.

And it's been almost 5 months with T and I'm being careful.

But now I'm starting to get anxious again because my T seems a little less good than before. I'm not completely sure but I get fluctuations sometimes even during the same day and there's also the osteopath who worked on my TMJ, jaw and ears an the last time it was also a little bit worse after that and then better. I'm also on my period right now so that also seems to influence everything...

Thank you.

How is your T?

I don't know if it's a good idea to ask you this since I don't want to make you focus on it or anything but I was wondering if you can describe it?

How does it sounds like exactly? How many sounds? Are they complex sounds and some that sound very "alien" or electronic and not really human/organic? How loud it is? And since when do you have that? Is it reactive and do you also have H?

For me it's been almost 5 months now. It sounds like a white noise and it's faint. But it's a bit reactive and I have some H left. It was louder before when I was panicking. If I listen to it in more detail or with earplugs or in a very silent room before bed, I can hear that it's a more complex sound. After a day, at night it seems to become a more electrical sound than a white noise like in the morning. I don't know if it's the ears and brain getting tired. It can sound like a white noise mixed with the little electrical sound of something plugged like a charger and sometimes but not always there can be a sound that sounds like a morse code or like a bit of air leaking...I also hear like a sizzling sound in my ears after going outside and coming back home.

Thanks and good luck to all !
