I'm looking for a stock benefactor Feltzer, can anyone sell me a copy?
I'm on PC :)
I'm on PC :)
Weapon Core Augmentation slots.
Are they pre-set per weapon, or are they randomised per weapon?
For example, if I built three guns, would they all be the same, or would they offer randomised augmentation slots?
Hey guys, I've been working on multiple guns at once, and my Enduring Legacy now feels like it's nearing completion.
I wanted to get some feedback and ask at the same time about further catalysing this to add another layer for elemental options - do you guys think it's worth adding more catalysts in case I needed to throw elemental bullets and barrels in at some point?
I use this with Lepic's Firearm ATK+ Mod version, and have played around with mental focus too, not sure which is better but currently using lethal finish as my thinking is - Bigger crits, good, but more crits better?
TIA.
Preface;
I'm a returning player, game is so much damn fun - I'm drawn to the insane looking male armor's and absolutely beautifully crafted guns, the textures of the metals and the gun play itself is just.... Yes. I also just absolutely love making builds, mod combinations and trying to stay ahead of my enemies resistances/weaknesses, and utilising some light mathematics is actually really nice and stimulating.
Especially since the newer content is nice and challenging at times. Although the difficulty keeps randomising/spiking - on hard mode map, everything dies in a couple of shots, in some single-mode instances; basic enemies face-tank considerably more damage. Interesting...
I'm finding myself slightly overwhelmed on returning by the amount of info sources I need to start working on some new guns I want to build.
Can anyone help me to try and make the acquisition of information a bit less tedious then having to perform 50 million google searches and referring back and forth from multiple wiki's, I'd like to know:
I fully appreciate there's a lot going on simultaneously regarding the amount of components at play to our disposal, so I'm just trying to find my flow and help streamline my learning curve. TIA :)
I should also make it known that I main Kyle, also enjoy ajax/blair/lepic - and I don't play the female descendants, that's just my preference, I steer clear of how s*xualised and demoralised they are. Again, my personal preference, TLD is my 'Anthem' nostalgic hit per se, RIP to that honourable mention. Thanks.
The 9-5 really hits differently in the HSS Hawking ...

Just dropping my slowly growing discord server for regular players to help with better LFG experiences.
I also want to add to the server a somewhat widget or tool to display different timezones, not sure if this is possible as I'm learning to be an admin on the go, this is my first server.
But yeah :)
Every. Single. Contract. I get pinpointed and harassed so badly, that I feel like the developers are actually just trolling at this point. It's hilarious, how bad the AI behaves xD
I open up the entire ship, try and do some exploring occasionally, but find that the AI is literally just on me ALL the time.
Like this example, I was playing stealthily until it just camped in the vents above where I was searching the entire time. I searched 16 rooms and found 0 guns in the crew quarters....riiiight, I heard it land in the next room and hid, then it just magically sprints into my room and corners me so I can't move, and I get pretty much spammed to death.
Then I spawn, and think - okay, It's a normal difficulty contract, I should be able to jog back to my corpse and pick up the key cards at least.
NOPE - SPAWN KILL. Fk this xD
Every specimen feels exactly the same already, just varies on appearance and how it moves. I lose it, it f*cks off - and then - I sh*t you not, about 1-3 mins every fkin 1-3 mins, it's on me and won't f*ck off until I either bait it into a chase and lose it again, or just get trapped with no room to escape.
This game is not scary, not anymore. It's become so boring - I'm actually sad to be burnt out of it AT ONLY 14.1 HOURS IN..... good lord.
I give up on solo missions, this game burned hot, but it burnt out fast because the actual gameplay/development feels really lazy and rushed, and thus, just bad/poor quality.
FYI - This video is from a normal difficulty contract, the octopus, and it had been immediately max aggression the moment I stepped off the ship, no cute & curious puppy phase... dude was p*ssed.
I need to farm credits, so I find extract missions the easiest at the moment given my experience and toolkit, while learning the map and it's requirements to bypass certain areas simultaneously.
I love everything about this game, except one thing.
THE AI KNOW YOUR LOCATIOIN AT ALL TIMES.
I just had to quit a contract because I was doing a normal difficulty blackbox run with the peacekeeper, and the box was in the crew quarters.
Okay fine, I need to gather some security passes 0/6 and then I can work on safely retrieving it.
NOPE.
I literally couldn't move through the map, to the point I was forced to hide in a corner for about 3 mins while listening to the enemy drones camping at my location (NOT PATROLLING), until a drone came to my exact spot multiple times until it eventually spotted me. I had to shoot it. Then the peacekeeper came over and camped outside the room for another min or so, not leaving like usual, then another drone, then he came in and basically blocked me in the dead end. Cool.
I respawn, and then go in a completely different direction, no drones, okay, they'll probably be a few running a basic route shortly which I can time my movements. NOPE. 3-4 drones coming and camping once again in my location, never leaving and the same thing happened again.
Then the peacekeeper, not even searching or walking a basic route, just stomps over, enters the exact room I happen to be in, I was behind boxes not visible to it, then just stomps over and then pauses doing nothing, obviously the script broke.
So I was forced to just quit, because what should have been a fairly simple run, became impossible due to diabolically poor scripting/development.
If I can't even move around for more than 20 seconds without the AI basically camping on me and preventing me from moving around, let alone completing an objective, then how am I supposed to run solo missions?
I hope this was a one off and something broke temporarily because other runs have been fine, with the specimens actually patrolling and stalking, and searching until veering off into another direction after being unable to find me.
But god damn, the whole "I'm gunna wallhack you, camp on your location and prevent you from doing anything but sitting in a corner behind some boxes for eternity" needs rectifying, it breaks immersion and feels completely unrealistic.
I hope the devs see this, and implement phases;
Default: Patrol
Have the AI patrol random routes, carrying out basic detection scripts.
Triggered Behaviour: Detection
If the specimen detects sound, or briefly spots you, have it search the small proximity of your last known location should you break LOS until giving up and returning to Default: Patrol.
Triggered Behaviour: Distraction
If the specimen is patrolling or currently searching for you after detection, be able to throw a canister or something lighter (for a slightly further throw) in a direction you'd like the creature to search, to enable you a chance to crouch and sneak past it while it is facing away.
Hi all, I just wanted to take a quick moment and introduce a couple of new things I've made to help players find each other and potentially make regular friends for those who also love Species: Unknown.
I couldn't find these things prior which is why I made them :)
First, a basic FB group:
Species Unknown (English) | Facebook
Second, a basic discord:
https://discord.gg/9gw36UKWtt
There's no one on the discord yet, and idk if it will even take off but there's a couple of people already in the group, but I'm hoping it will catch on and I can start a nice little community.
Cheers :)
I'm a new cadet, or... mercenary I guess now. And I just finished my first contract, I don't know if we all get the same one first time round but, I was glad it turned out to be the guy who only poses a genuine threat if you look directly at him....
That's only in comparison to the other specimens I read about in the codex though , it still creeped the ever loving crap out of me nonetheless. Safe to say, I feel the dread regarding what's to come.
Overall though, this is one of the most fun horror games I've played in a long time, and it looks FANTASTIC. I had no idea when downloading it for the first time yesterday that it had been out since October? ... Anyway, what a rush.
I'm looking for other players, but noticed there's almost no group or anything I could find where people were coming together to find regulars or meet others, which brings me to the last little thing I wanted to share here; I took the liberty of throwing together a simple, basic facebook group dedicated to Species: Unknown group finding. I don't know how helpful or successful it will be but, time will tell. Here's the link; Species Unknown (English) | Facebook
Oh and if you're thinking about picking up this title - this is the sign, DO IT, and thank me later.
Just brought this since it was relatively cheap and looked awesome, haven't loaded in yet as wanted to ask a few things prior.
Do the matches run on a random lobby maker / random group finder.
Or - do we use a looking for group thing somewhere.
Is a mic needed? I'm wondering how strategic and how much team work is involved.
Preface; I keep seeing people in game complaining about player damage to various members in my teams, and I don't know where in the last few months this habit has risen but (at least I've only noticed it in the last few months) - player damage is not as high of a priority as MOST players currently seem to think.
To start this one off, the only damage I consider a priority is what I call "Damage that matters". Why? Simple. You can nuke to your hearts content, but unless you or your team secure that kill - your target will either heal on the move or return to base and then return to the fight which takes a about 20 seconds (if that). And to secure that kill, you're only going to need about 2K-3K (average players health pool). That's actually, not a lot when you think about it, is it.
I've been playing SMITE since (SMITE 1) Season 3. And I've learned that most of the fight, and the advantage in said fight, is psychological.
I've had this discussion with a SMITE friend who was convinced that the main statistic that mattered in reflecting their performance in SMITE was PLAYER DAMAGE. So in disbelief of what I was proposing, he gave me the challenge of winning a conquest while staying under 10K player damage - he was convinced it was impossible.
So I queued mid, chose Agni, and saw that I was against another Agni - sweet.
Once the fighting started, their agni was desperately trying to poke, and hit me as much as possible and instead of trying to return hits, I focused on dodging and did just that, after agni realised he was missing 80%-90% of attacks and abilities, he wasn't sure what to do.
Then I utilised the minions, I placed a gas cloud on the incoming line, and then nothing else while I cleared. The mere idea that I MIGHT do something, forced their agni into fear, while he waited, and watched under his tower, their jungle rotated but was easily avoided/dodged too.
After a while, I had coaxed him out, baited his abilities, then gave him a little poke, and watched him retreat, which gave me the opportunity to go and solo the pyromancer early. Once I had the runic bomb, I repeated the psychological warfare until I used the runic bomb to take his first tower, and then the second.
By this point, my team had began their assault on the solo lane tower, and shortly after I had taken the middle one. Carry and Support hadn't taken any towers but were drawing attention and most of the team fights into their lane, a useful distraction to keep that pesky jungle out my hair (metaphorically speaking since agni is bald).
My team thought they could blast the titan in one go without minions, I said it won't work like that but they didn't listen and they tried, and failed.
It took some time, but eventually I worked my minions up to their middle phoenix, I told them to coax a team fight in either carry or solo lane, which they did, and I managed to take my minions through and kill the pheonix, doing the same afterwards to bring the titan down to 50% health with the use of another runic bomb, which we followed up in the second wave and won (the team fight and the conquest since I had been pushing my minions right up to the gate).
I kept both my towers, out farmed and outplayed their agni all while finishing at an easy 5.1K player damage, utilising mostly dodges and then watching them retreat straight after.
My friend now believes that strategy and psychological (or tactical) advantages out weigh the importance of player damage.
Why? Players that boast 50K+ player damage usually finish between 6-12 kills, which means most of the damage they dealt, was healed and wasted.
While if a player has low player damage but secures their kills, that's because he practiced patience and made sure the damage he dealt was going to finish their target.
The only role who if played right that will see 50K+ Player damage, IF utilized properly, will be the jungle.
How do I know this? I've gone jungle and finished with 24 kills, I saw 62K Player damage. If the average player health pool is about 2K-3K ... that will mathematically tell you that almost none of that damage went to waste.
Interesting, I think, and food for thought.
And in my personal opinion, the players who I see complaining about others' player damage, usually don't perform too well themselves, and I've seen them throw their abilities out without actually considering the action prior, and then find themselves being outplayed by opposing gods, and sometimes they flame their team for it afterwards. Interesting. (Doing this might actually yield you a higher player damage too, but like mentioned above, it's mostly often wasted damage and a meaningless tactic).
Welcome to the discussion; As always, keep it civil and respectful - and I'm interested to hear whether you think player damage is more important than playing to the strengths of your objectives.
BUT it still... does NOT function properly.
The stats being displayed do not represent the items at least 50% of the time.
This screenshot was taken after applying a starting item, then a 1st item - with no change being displayed yet. I then added a 2nd item (3rd slot) and only the stats from that item were displayed.
I then removed all items and the stats being displayed only reflected the influence from that 3rd item, even after being removed.
PLEASE. As someone who builds multiple builds for multiple roles on multiple gods... FIX THE DAMN GOD BUILDER.
Honestly, building set ups is one of the most fun parts of this game for me, especially as an example when I get to go 1v1 against Anubis in solo and watch him deflate with anti-heal and watch him panic. Ahh - sweet satisfaction.
Please, it's time. Make the god builder great again.
Preface;
I'm ever so slightly sick and tired of players being handed free kills by panicking, spraying and praying, and face tanking melee hits like I'm hitting them with a damn tea towel. 😅
I like tactical stealth gameplay, I play Operations and I load in with literally nothing, but a knife. Why? I've had a bad experience from players camping at extraction points and players using wallhacks (when I've made no sound whatsoever, I've been covered by environmental sound and nearby AI sound, and then they appear from no-where and have my exact location without any UAV or recon). GG. I know what you're doing, so these people can enjoy my empty backpack from now on.
I spawn in Solo, and I like the challenge. I've encountered a few full teams of three now who I've been able to out manoeuvre and wipe. Some of them put down smoke, which made it more fun - but all of them panicked and made it pretty easy...and I've been left with fractures and like 13 HP every time, but it's a rewarding skill play and I kind of wish it wasn't so punished.
Aside from the melee I'm currently using (just the default one - I only started playing Delta Force a few days ago). The other elements I feel are punishing are:
To clarify however, I am still enjoying the game and this is by no means a "good game or bad game" post.
I just thought these would be interesting points for discussion.
I'm not looking to trigger anyone or anything, the game is very interesting to me.
FOOTSTEPS. What the sh*t!?
Honestly, why is there no in-game mechanic to silence our movement - even just temporarily?
I've become aware of Hawk and Nox, and I'm gunna try recruit Nox now I know how to.
But regardless, the general movement in this game sounds like I have concrete feet... GOOD LORD.
Preface; I've come over to Delta Force from a game called "The Finals" which I was really enjoying, but my lobbies were gradually seeing more and more aimbots which I was actually able to capture and send to the devs, to which their support team said it's an on-going issue which they're aiming to resolve.
I've played 5 games in Delta Force so far (UK based Europe Server) of the objective push and defend game mode, and I'm not sure of what I'm seeing.
But I've been wall-banged a lot, had enemy players insta-lock onto my node, and it actually seems to be much worse than the finals currently, I can only guess because there's no killcam, it's actually a lot easier to hide from the bans? (if it is people using them).
I don't know what the PING is like in this game, but it seems so far to be plagued with this. I've also encountered the usual people sitting in the same spot for the entire match, and I've spawned in as food (in front of waiting enemies) a lot. But that I suppose I can learn to cope with.
I'm a PC player, and I've always been the type to be covering my corners, ADS into vulnerable space and I'm ready 9/10 times as apposed to running around and jumping round corners aha, but I've definitely seen players lock onto me within milliseconds, and I don't know if it's ping/data packet loss or not.
Interested to hear what you guys have experienced as I already feel disheartened that the Finals has been ruined for me :L
I personally have found the ratio of 5-6 in every 10 games I play, where I've found other players using aimbots, whether that's a player, or an entire team.
It makes me wonder if the Devs are even aware? ... Do they monitor matches, or are they relying on some AI software to detect it?
It's a shame and will slowly push me personally into other titles but, it seems like it's gradually getting worse, no?
Preface:
I'm 29, living in the UK, I've grown up in the city/towns and I've spent the majority of my life in solitude. I'm an ex-musician (drums) so I did some studying and gigged for a few years growing up - sure I'm a people person, but ultimately I've always been the "quiet oddball that doesn't leave his room" kind, because although I'm used to groups of people, I've never felt like I belonged to any of them.
I recently have the hankering I'd like to get into camping - but I don't know where to start.
I've worked for a large portion of my adult life, but I lost my job in January and I've been job hunting since, and as many will be aware - it's a completely different world now. So I spend most of my time by myself, in my room, rotting by playing video games or watching movies and I'm ultimately aware of my own human mortality in the sense that I have to do something before I drown in my own isolation.
I'd love to get a dog, but I can't afford. I can't afford the hobbies I want to try and I can't afford to be a musician anymore. SO.... after pondering the "I could do this, I could do that" for a while, I landed on camping.
I've been camping a few times and I know I enjoy it, but it's always been with friends 13+ years ago in my teen years - not too far from home and within a few hours walk to some shops - so I've never really been Camping camping ... y'know?
But I also know I'm exceptionally organised, meticulous and good at rationing - I've spent most of my life knowing I could pack what I actually needed in life into a backpack, the rest has just been misc clutter and material exposable stuff I know I could leave behind.
I'm not materialistic, and sometimes go on bike rides through small nature reserves, and being alone doesn't bother me one bit, I'm a loner by nature, but the kind who would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
I'm also riddled with ADHD and I've found that getting out into nature just ticks all the boxes - but I'm also aware of how little I know, so just winging it and buying some camping sh*t and going is probably not a good idea...Especially since I am a bit naive and don't know nor do I currently care about the weight of dangers, which tells me I lack the experience currently too.
So ... how would someone like me even go about getting started if I wanted to start adopting camping into my skills?
